MuHize 1/4" brake line tubing kit is a 25‑foot roll of PVF‑coated, double‑wall galvanized steel tubing supplied with 16 inverted‑flared fittings for corrosion‑resistant hydraulic, fuel, and transmission line repairs.
This kit brings together a long length of flexible 1/4" tubing plus a selection of common inverted tube nuts so you can run, extend, or replace vehicle lines without sourcing individual parts. The tubing is manufactured with a PVF protective coating over double‑wall galvanized steel to resist rust while remaining easy to bend and flare with common hand tools. The package is intended for do‑it‑yourselfers, mechanics, and small shops that need a reliable replacement line for braking, fuel, or transmission applications.
The MuHize tubing uses a double‑wall galvanized steel core topped with a PVF (polyvinyl fluoride) protective layer. That combination reduces oxidation compared with plain steel and helps maintain the line’s integrity in wet or salted environments. It’s engineered to delay surface rust and preserve thread and flare seating for longer service life.
MuHize tubing is designed for practical shop use: it bends smoothly by hand or with a basic tubing bender and accepts standard inverted flares with common flaring tools. The material balances flexibility and springback so you can shape runs without kinking. Included fittings match common inverted tube nuts for straightforward connections to existing brake or fuel components.
The kit supplies 16 inverted tube nuts to cover commonly encountered thread standards on automotive lines. That selection reduces the likelihood you’ll need additional hardware when replacing or extending lines. Each nut is sized to mate with common union fittings used on many passenger vehicles and light trucks.
The construction and sizing of this 1/4" line make it suitable for hydraulic braking systems, fuel lines, transmission lines, and various industrial or household fluid runs where steel tubing is appropriate. Installation must follow vehicle manufacturer torque and flaring specifications. Avoid uses where manufacturer‑specified tubing or hose is required or where certification is mandatory.
Who is this for: This MuHize kit fits mechanics, home‑garage enthusiasts, and fleet technicians who need a ready supply of corrosion‑resistant 1/4" tubing and a set of common inverted tube nuts. It’s useful for emergency repairs, custom line runs, and routine replacements where a durable steel line with a protective coating is preferred. Always follow safety procedures, use correct flaring tools, and verify compatibility with vehicle service requirements before installation.
Q: Is this tubing safe for brake line use?
A: Yes when flared and installed to manufacturer specs; use proper tools and follow torque and safety guidelines.
Q: What fittings are included in the kit?
A: The kit includes 16 inverted tube nuts: 2 (1/2‑20), 12 (7/16‑24), and 2 (9/16‑18).
