MuzeFansi 2-in-1 Rust Converter & Metal Primer — 70.5 oz Black Rust Inhibitor, Heat-Resistant, Paintable

MuzeFansi 2-in-1 Rust Converter & Metal Primer is a water-based black rust treatment that chemically stabilizes corrosion and creates a paintable primer in a single coat.

This commercial-strength formula is designed to stop active rust and form a durable primed surface without aggressive sanding or dangerous solvents. Suitable for automotive, marine, agricultural and household metal projects, it converts scaled iron into a bonded protective layer while providing heat, chemical and UV resistance for continued performance.

How does this product stop and seal rust without full stripping?

Instead of removing every speck of oxidized metal, the MuzeFansi converter reacts with rust to create a stable surface that bonds to the metal beneath. That reaction hardens the corroded area and produces a flat, paint-ready finish that blocks moisture and air.

• Chemical conversion neutralizes iron oxide into a stable coating.
• Adheres to both rusty and bare metal—no bare-metal sanding required.
• Forms a tight barrier against moisture, oxygen, and contaminants.

Can I use this on cars, boats and hot engine parts?

Yes—this formulation tolerates heat up to roughly 350°F (176°C) and resists chemicals, abrasion and UV exposure, making it suitable for many automotive and marine locations. Apply where the substrate isn’t exposed to constant extreme temperatures beyond the stated limit.

• Safe for frames, undercarriages, brake components, and engine bays within heat limits.
• Works on marine hardware, trailers and outdoor metal fittings.
• Resists chipping, cracking and peeling in harsh environments.

What prep, application and drying steps give the best results?

Preparation is simple: remove loose scale, heavy grease and flaking paint, then clean the surface. Apply with a brush, roller or sprayer in thin coats and allow adequate drying time between applications for a durable finish.

• Remove loose rust and contaminants; no need to grind to bare metal.
• Apply 2–3 thin coats for best coverage; allow about 24 hours to cure fully.
• Clean tools with water; product is water-based and low-VOC.

Do I need a topcoat or special maintenance afterward?

The product dries to a flat, paintable surface and typically does not require an additional primer, though a topcoat can be added for color or extra protection. Avoid rubbing or scraping the cured coating to preserve its barrier properties.

• Can be left as-is for protection, or painted over for aesthetics.
• For high-exposure areas, use a compatible topcoat to extend service life.
• Store and use within recommended times; use within 72 hours after opening.
