NGK Laser Iridium Spark Plugs IZFR6K11 — Set of 4, Iridium Center Electrode for Longer Life

NGK IZFR6K11 Laser Iridium spark plugs are a genuine four-pack replacement (part 6994) designed to provide reliable ignition performance for compatible vehicles.

These NGK Laser Iridium spark plugs come as an OEM-quality set of four with original packaging and hardware, intended as a direct replacement for applications that specify NGK 6994. The fine-gauge iridium center electrode is engineered for consistent spark delivery and long service life compared with conventional plugs. Before purchase, verify fitment for your vehicle using the manufacturer’s fitment tool or Amazon Confirmed Fit information.

Which engine problems does this NGK spark plug address?

These plugs replace worn or fouled spark plugs, restoring reliable ignition and helping to reduce misfires when installed correctly. They are a common service part for routine maintenance and do not require engine modifications.

• Replaces worn electrodes for consistent spark timing
• Reduces risk of misfires from old or damaged plugs
• Maintains ignition system integrity when installed per spec

How do Laser Iridium plugs differ from standard plugs?

Laser Iridium uses a finely machined iridium center electrode that offers improved wear resistance compared with standard nickel electrodes. That results in longer intervals between replacements under normal operating conditions.

• Iridium center electrode for greater durability
• Precise electrode geometry for stable spark formation
• Lower long-term replacement frequency versus some conventional plugs

What should I check before installing the NGK IZFR6K11 set?

Confirm the plug type and gap specification for your exact engine model, and inspect ignition components like wires or coils while replacing plugs. Use the vehicle manufacturer’s torque and gap specs to ensure correct installation and avoid damage.

• Verify part number NGK 6994 / IZFR6K11 matches vehicle requirements
• Check and set electrode gap per OEM specification before fitment
• Use correct torque and new hardware where applicable

Will these plugs work with performance or turbocharged engines?

NGK Laser Iridium plugs are suitable for many naturally aspirated and forced-induction engines when the part number matches the engine’s specification. For modified engines, confirm heat range and electrode requirements with a technician to match altered combustion characteristics.

• Compatible when NGK IZFR6K11 is specified by the engine maker
• Check heat range suitability for tuned or high-boost setups
• Consult a professional if ignition timing or fuel maps have changed
