nifeida 8" 18-LED Slim Utility Strip Light Bar Pack of 4 — Clear Lens, Waterproof 12V Marine & RV Surface Mount

The nifeida 8" 18LED clear-lens slim utility strip is a waterproof, surface-mount 12V light bar designed for versatile exterior and interior use on boats, RVs, trucks and trailers.

Compact yet bright, this slim-line lamp packs 18 Piranha-style LEDs behind a clear polycarbonate lens for broad, stable white illumination with low power draw. Built with a sealed circuit board, epoxy encapsulation and a flexible rubber gasket, it resists moisture and corrosion for routine marine and automotive environments. Each pack contains four identical 8-inch bars with mounting screws, making it simple to add accent, marker or work lighting without bulky housings.

How bright is the nifeida 8" LED strip and what kind of light does it produce?

The light bar delivers a superbright, even white output thanks to 18 premium LEDs and a clear lens that disperses light without harsh glare. It reaches full intensity quickly while keeping current consumption low, suitable for marker, backup, or cabin lighting on 12V systems.

• 18 Piranha-style LEDs for broad coverage
• Clear polycarbonate lens for even diffusion
• Low power draw ideal for 12V vehicle batteries
• Quick start and steady light output

Is this light bar waterproof and durable enough for marine use?

The housing uses a durable polycarbonate lens and a sealed circuit board coated in epoxy to minimize moisture intrusion and corrosion. A flexible rubber gasket creates a tight surface seal, so the fixture performs reliably in humid, splashed, or damp environments—though it’s not intended for prolonged submersion.

• Epoxy-sealed electronics protect against moisture
• Polycarbonate lens resists impact and UV fading
• Rubber gasket for secure surface mounting seal
• Designed for wet conditions, not continuous immersion

How simple is installation and what wiring is required?

Installation is straightforward: each bar mounts with two screws through the included holes and connects to a 12V supply using the two bare wires—red for positive, black for ground. The gasket sits in a rear groove to help the lamp lie flat against the mounting surface, and common hand tools are sufficient for a quick fit.

• Two-screw surface mount for fast installation
• Red wire = positive, black wire = ground
• Screws included, gasket pre-shaped for flush mounting
• Compatible with trucks, trailers, RVs, boats, ATVs and buses

What are typical uses for these 8" light bars?

These slim strips are made to serve many roles: side marker and clearance lamps, backup aids, interior dome or cabin lights, and accent or utility illumination under hoods or in storage bays. Their compact shape lets you add functional light where full-size fixtures won’t fit.

• Side marker and clearance lighting for trailers and trucks
• Backup or reverse light augmentation
• Cabin, cargo area, or under-hood utility lighting
• Accent or task lighting on boats, RVs, and ATVs
