Nilight 3-Position Pintle Hook Mount for 2" Hitch Receiver — 9" Shank, 14,000 lb GTW, Adjustable Height

This solid-steel mounting plate converts a 2" hitch receiver into a versatile pintle hook attachment with three height options. Built for commercial and recreational towing, the Nilight mount pairs a 2" x 9" shank with a 5" x 7.38" mounting plate, offering multiple bolting positions so you can set the pintle hook to the height you need. A durable two-stage corrosion-resistant finish and an included 5/8" pin and clip make it ready for immediate use.

How does this pintle mount handle heavy towing jobs?

The Nilight plate is engineered for demanding loads without compromising safety. Its solid-steel construction and reinforced mounting plate deliver a gross trailer weight capacity of 14,000 lbs and a tongue weight rating of 2,800 lbs — suitable for trailers, campers, and equipment haulers when paired with compatible vehicles and hitches.

• 14,000 lbs gross trailer weight (GTW) capacity
• 2,800 lbs tongue weight rating
• Solid steel construction for strength and durability
• Designed for use with standard 2" receiver systems

What adjustment options does the mount offer?

Nilight’s mounting plate includes four fastener holes that create three distinct vertical positions for the pintle hook. This lets you raise or lower the hitch point to match different trailers or towing setups without additional adapters.

• 2" x 9" shank fits standard 2" receivers
• Plate measures 5" x 7.38" with four holes for secure attachment
• Three height settings for improved trailer alignment
• Works with common pintle hooks and bolting patterns

How durable is the finish and hardware for outdoor use?

The mount receives a two-stage protective coating: an E-coat pre-treatment followed by a high-grade textured black powder coat. That combination limits corrosion and surface wear so the mount holds up in wet, salty, or dusty conditions.

• E-coat pre-coating for initial corrosion resistance
• Textured black powder coat for a tough exterior layer
• All exposed surfaces treated to reduce rust over time
• Included 5/8" pin and clip for secure receiver attachment

How easy is installation and what hardware is included?

Installation is straightforward: slide the 2" shank into your vehicle’s receiver, align the holes, and secure with the supplied pin and clip. The rounded shank and standard pin size make mounting quick and compatible with most receivers.

• Insert 2" x 9" shank into 2" receiver — no special tools required for the shank
• Use the supplied 5/8" pin and clip to lock the mount in place
• Bolt your pintle hook to the 5" x 7.38" plate using the four pre-drilled holes
• Three-position adjustment eliminates need for extra adapters in many cases
