Novus Plastic Clean & Shine 64 oz — Non‑Abrasive Acrylic/Polycarbonate Cleaner with Anti‑Static Finish

This concentrated cleaner from Novus is designed specifically for plastic, acrylic and polycarbonate surfaces that need gentle cleaning without scratching. The formula removes fingerprints, smudges and light haze while leaving a smooth, low-glare finish that resists resoiling. It’s supplied in a large 64‑ounce bottle to cover multiple applications across displays, shields, helmets and household plastics.

How does NOVUS 7050 restore clarity to plastic surfaces?

The solution uses a non-abrasive cleaning system that lifts oils, fingerprints and light oxidation without sanding or harsh chemicals. It reduces haziness on windshields, goggles and display cases when used as directed and preserves transparency over repeated applications.

• Removes surface residue and light cloudiness without scratching.
• Safe for acrylics and polycarbonates when spot-tested first.
• Leaves a smooth, clear finish that improves optical clarity.

Will NOVUS 7050 work on helmets, goggles and windshields?

Yes — it’s formulated to clean and polish helmet shields, goggles and plastic automotive glazing. The product polishes out mild surface blemishes and greatly reduces hazing while minimizing streaks and fingerprints.

• Effective on helmet and face shields, reducing visual distortion.
• Safe for goggles and visors made from acrylic or polycarbonate.
• Use gentle cloths and follow test spot guidance before full application.

How should I apply NOVUS 7050 for best results?

Apply a small amount to a soft, lint-free cloth and work in light circular motions; buff to a dry shine. For larger surfaces, spray or pour sparingly and wipe with a clean microfiber to avoid streaks and residue buildup.

• Test on an inconspicuous area for compatibility first.
• Use soft microfiber or cotton cloths — avoid abrasive pads.
• Buff until the surface appears clear and greaseless.

Can NOVUS 7050 help reduce static and fingerprints?

Yes, the finish leaves surfaces with an anti-static, smudge-resistant layer that helps delay fingerprint reappearance and reduces dust attraction. This makes it practical for high-touch displays and serving areas where a clean appearance matters.

• Provides anti-static properties to slow dust build-up.
• Reduces visible fingerprints and smudges between cleanings.
• Ideal for display cases, buffet covers and retail acrylics.

Who is this for? Novus 7050 is suited to homeowners, retail and hospitality operators, motorsport and cycling riders, and anyone maintaining acrylic or polycarbonate surfaces that need gentle, effective cleaning. It’s particularly useful where optical clarity and a low-glare, fingerprint-resistant finish are important—just remember to always test on a small hidden area before treating the entire surface.
