OCM Brand Classic Car Duster with Varnished Solid Wood Handle — Wax-Infused Cotton, Storage Case

OCM Brand's Classic Car Duster is a long, wax-infused cotton duster with a varnished solid wood handle and protective storage case for gentle, effective dust removal between washes.

Keep a freshly cleaned look on your vehicle without water or chemicals: this classic-style duster uses 100% soft cotton threads infused with wax to attract and lift dust while a long, narrow head reaches into tight gaps. The varnished solid wood handle gives a comfortable, sturdy grip and the included storage cover protects the fibers when not in use. It’s built for regular touch-ups to preserve a showroom appearance between full washes.

How does this duster remove dust without scratching paint?

The duster combines very soft, 3-inch long cotton threads and a light wax infusion to pick up dust rather than dragging particles across the surface. The threads are designed to lift and trap dust, reducing abrasive contact with paint and trim. Use with gentle, even strokes and avoid pressing hard into contaminants that require washing.

• Wax-infused 100% cotton threads attract and hold dust.
• 3-inch thread length cushions contact with painted surfaces.
• Long, narrow head reaches seams and tight trim without scraping.
• Use between washes to minimize abrasive wiping.

What features make the handle and storage case practical?

The handle is made from varnished solid wood for comfort and long-term durability, resisting moisture and wear during regular use. Its ergonomic shape helps steady the duster across complex body lines. The durable storage cover slips over the head to shield the threads from dirt and compression, extending the life of the duster between uses.

• Varnished solid wood handle provides a secure, comfortable grip.
• Sturdy construction designed for repeated household and garage use.
• Protective storage cover preserves thread quality during storage.
• Compact storage keeps the duster ready and clean for touch-ups.

How should I use and care for the duster to maximize life?

Use light, sweeping motions following the contours of panels and glass to remove dust; avoid pressing into sticky or gritty deposits. After use, gently shake or tap the duster outside, slide on the storage cover, and store in a dry place. If the threads become stubbornly soiled, spot-clean by hand with mild soap and air-dry completely before replacing the cover.

• Employ gentle strokes—no heavy pressure or scrubbing.
• Shake out loose dust outdoors; avoid machine washing when possible.
• Spot-clean with mild soap, rinse, and air-dry fully before storage.
• Keep the storage cover on to protect threads and prevent dust accumulation.

Where does this duster work best on my vehicle?

The long, narrow head and soft cotton fibers make this duster ideal for sweeping dust off horizontal panels, window glass, dashboards, mirrors, bumpers, side trim, and between tight seams. It’s meant for light maintenance—removing loose dust and pollen rather than embedded grime. For heavily soiled areas, a traditional wash or targeted cleaning is recommended before dusting.

• Excellent for hoods, roofs, trunks, and glass surfaces.
• Reaches narrow gaps along trim, emblems, and between panels.
• Gentle enough for dashboards and interior surfaces when used lightly.
• Not a replacement for full wash when dirt is stuck or greasy.
