OGO Origin composting toilet for vans & RVs — compact 12V urine-diverting, odorless design

OGO Origin is a compact, urine-diverting composting toilet with a 12V push-button agitator that delivers odor-free, low-maintenance sanitation for vans, tiny homes, boats, and off-grid rigs.

Designed to fit where conventional composting toilets won’t, the OGO Origin combines a tiny footprint with electric mixing, urine separation, and vented airflow to keep interiors fresh without manual cranking or bulky components. Built from durable polypropylene in the USA, it’s optimized for full-time van life, retrofitted RVs, marine cabins, and any small space that demands both performance and a tidy appearance.

How does the OGO Origin manage odors in a small living space?

The Origin separates liquids from solids so urine is routed to a sealed 2.4‑gallon bottle while dry solids stay in a rear chamber, greatly reducing the sources of ammonia and sewage smell. A quiet 12V ventilation fan further removes air from the solids bin to the outside, and the electric agitator promotes faster, drier breakdown.

• Urine diversion to a sealed container prevents black-tank odor buildup.
• Vented fan continuously extracts air from the solids compartment.
• Electric mixing reduces moisture and speeds composting, limiting smell.

What makes this toilet suitable for tight van, RV, or boat installs?

The Origin’s 15" x 16" footprint is among the smallest for composting toilets, allowing corner or offset placement that preserves legroom and a clean bathroom layout. Its compact form eliminates the need for a bulky side crank or large enclosure, making retrofit and new builds simpler.

• 15" x 16" base fits narrow compartments and corner spots.
• No external crank—low-profile design keeps cabinetry minimal.
• Scandinavian-inspired aesthetic integrates with premium interiors.

How do I operate and maintain the electric agitator and urine system?

Operation is one-button simplicity: press the 12V push-button to activate the internal agitator; no manual cranking or repeated chores after each use. Maintenance focuses on periodic emptying of a 2.4‑gal urine bottle and removing the solids bin after 25–30 uses for composting or disposal.

• One-tap agitator mixes solids for better breakdown—no handle work required.
• Urine bottle is accessible and easy to remove and reseal for dumping.
• Serviceable parts and straightforward access make repairs simple.

What power and construction features should I expect for off-grid reliability?

Built for real off-grid use, the Origin runs on 12V with a low power draw and includes a quiet fan for continuous ventilation. Constructed in the USA from tough polypropylene, the unit resists odors and moisture while offering replaceable components for long-term serviceability.

• Low-draw 12V motor and fan compatible with typical vehicle/battery systems.
• Durable polypropylene body resists wear, moisture, and odors.
• Quiet fan preserves onboard peace and reduces power interruptions.

Who is this for? The OGO Origin suits van lifers, tiny-home owners, boaters, and RV users who demand a clean, low-effort sanitation solution that fits confined layouts. It’s ideal for people who want a modern-looking, odor-controlled toilet without the hassle of crank systems or large black tanks—perfect for full-time nomads, couples living off-grid, and anyone retrofitting a premium small bathroom.
