Olympia Tools adjustable hydraulic work stool — Black vinyl seat, 360° swivel, chrome double-ring base

The Olympia Tools 82-738 is an adjustable hydraulic work stool with a stain-resistant padded seat, 360° swivel, and a chrome double-ring base built for stability and workshop use.

This heavy-duty workshop stool combines a cushioned vinyl seat and backrest with a gas-lift height adjustment and footprint-stabilizing high-traction feet. Designed for garages, repair bays, and hobby benches, the stool balances comfort and durability so you can stay steady while reaching tools, inspecting parts, or working at variable bench heights.

How does the height adjustment make workshop tasks easier?

The gas-hydraulic lift lets you change seat height smoothly between approximately 39" and 43", so you can align eye level with workpieces or benches without straining. Quick adjustments keep you productive when switching tasks or tools.

• Hydraulic lift for precise, on-the-fly height changes
• Range suitable for most garage benches and tool cabinets
• Height scale supports consistent positioning

Will this stool hold up to heavy use in a garage or shop?

Yes — the frame uses a premium double-ring leg construction with a polished chrome finish to resist corrosion and provide a rigid base. Slip-resistant feet and reinforced top/bottom rings increase longevity and reduce wobble under regular workshop demands.

• High-polish chrome resists rust in humid or oily environments
• Double-ring leg design disperses weight evenly
• High-traction feet prevent sliding on concrete floors

Is the seat comfortable and easy to maintain?

The seat is covered in heavy-duty vinyl that repels stains and spills, so routine wipe-downs keep the stool looking new. A molded backrest adds lumbar support for extended jobs, while the 360° swivel improves reach without repeatedly standing.

• Stain- and spill-resistant vinyl for easy cleaning
• Padded seat plus backrest for better posture during long tasks
• Full rotation for quick access to surrounding tools and parts

What setup and space considerations should I know?

The stool’s footprint and adjustable height make it versatile for confined workbenches and open shop floors. Minimal assembly is required and the compact base stores neatly under benches or beside cabinets when not in use.

• Compact footprint fits tight work areas
• Simple assembly with basic hand tools
• Swivel and height range suit multiple work surfaces
