O'NEAL Youth Chest Protector — Pee Wee Black XS/SM, Lightweight Adjustable Impact Protection

O'NEAL's Pee Wee Chest Protector is a lightweight, adjustable chest and back protector designed to keep toddlers and small children (ages 2–5) safe and comfortable while riding or playing.

Built for young riders who need coverage without bulk, this XS/SM protector balances low weight and flexibility with hard-shell impact zones. The foam chassis molds to a child's shape while injected molded shoulder cups and TPR panels shield the chest and back. Adjustable straps make it simple to customize the fit for children roughly 35–40 inches tall and 28–40 pounds.

How does this protector deliver comfort for little riders?

The design prioritizes mobility and breathability so children can move freely while staying covered. Soft, flexible foam shapes to the torso while molded shoulder pads keep weight away from the neck and shoulders.

• Lightweight foam chassis that flexes with motion
• Molded shoulder cups to distribute pressure evenly
• Low-profile silhouette reduces hot spots under clothing

What level of protection does it provide?

Protection combines energy-absorbing foam with thermo-plastic rubber (TPR) panels and injected plastic shoulder pieces to defend vulnerable areas. The unit guards chest and back without the stiffness of adult armor, offering a compromise between coverage and playability.

• TPR chest and back panels for impact dispersion
• Injected molded shoulder pads for repeated abrasion resistance
• Foam inner layer to cushion light-to-moderate impacts

How easy is it to fit and adjust on small children?

Straps are designed to be intuitive so caregivers can achieve a secure, comfortable fit quickly. Elastic and buckle adjustments allow the protector to grow with the child within the stated size range.

• Multiple adjustable straps for a tailored fit
• XS/SM sizing for ages 2–5, near 35–40 inches tall
• Simple closures that are easy for adults to operate

How does this piece perform in typical youth riding situations?

The protector is built for everyday youth use—trail rides, motocross practice, bicycle parks, and casual off-road play—where lightweight coverage is preferred. It provides abrasion-resistant areas and padding where small riders need it most, without restricting fun.

• Durable outer components for repeated outdoor use
• Flexible foam for comfortable all-day wear
• Designed to pair easily with jerseys or jackets
