Poweka 2-Inch RV Bumper Hitch Receiver Adapter for 4x4 Bumpers — Bolt-On, Heavy-Duty Black Powder-Coat

Poweka's 2-inch RV bumper hitch receiver adapter converts a 4 x 4 inch square RV bumper into a standard 2" receiver for carrying bike racks and cargo carriers.

This heavy-duty adapter makes it simple to mount common hitch accessories on many RV bumpers without welding or drilling. Built from robust steel with a protective black powder-coat, the unit bolts onto a 4" x 4" square bumper and provides a familiar 2" receiver opening for racks, carriers, and other non-towing gear. Designed for cargo use only, it is not intended to tow trailers.

How does this adapter attach to my RV bumper?

The Poweka adapter uses a bolt-on installation that eliminates the need for welding or complicated modifications. With basic hand tools you can position the adapter, insert the supplied hardware, and tighten to secure it to a 4" x 4" square bumper in minutes.

• Bolt-on design: no drilling or welding required
• Fits 4 x 4 inch square RV bumpers only
• Mounts using standard bolts and locking hardware
• Quick removal if you need to restore the bumper to factory condition

What types of accessories will work with the 2-inch receiver?

The adapter provides a universal 2" receiver opening compatible with most hitch-mounted accessories designed for that size. It’s ideal for carrying bicycles, a cargo basket, storage racks, and similar light-duty gear — as long as the accessory and any load stay within rated limits.

• Bike racks for 2" receivers
• Cargo carriers and baskets
• Storage racks and utility trays
• Works with most standard 2" hitch pins and locks

What are the weight limits and safety considerations?

This adapter is rated for up to 3,500 lbs gross trailer weight and 350 lbs tongue weight when used with correctly rated components; however, it is intended for cargo applications only, not for towing trailers. Always confirm the combined ratings of the adapter, accessory, and the RV bumper before loading, and use appropriate tie-downs and safety hardware.

• 3500 lb gross trailer weight rating (application-dependent)
• 350 lb tongue weight rating when paired with proper components
• Not for trailer towing—cargo use only
• Inspect mounts and fasteners regularly for wear and corrosion

Will this resist rust and outdoor wear?

The receiver is fabricated from durable steel and finished with a black powder-coat to protect against moisture and surface corrosion. Routine maintenance like cleaning, touch-up paint on chips, and periodic inspection will extend service life in outdoor environments.

• Heavy-gauge steel construction
• Black powder-coated finish for corrosion resistance
• Simple spot maintenance keeps it performing longer
• Store or cover when not in use for maximum longevity

Who is this for? The Poweka 2" RV bumper hitch receiver adapter suits RV owners with a 4 x 4 inch square bumper who want a quick, removable way to add common 2" hitch accessories like bike racks and cargo carriers. It’s aimed at travelers and outdoor enthusiasts needing a secure mounting point for non-towing loads, home mechanics who prefer bolt-on solutions, and anyone looking to avoid permanent bumper modifications. Before purchase, measure your bumper to ensure compatibility and confirm that your chosen accessories and cargo remain within the adapter’s listed capacity.
