Prosentuo Aluminum Fuel Filter Cap for Dodge Ram Cummins 2019-2024 — Machined Alloy, Metal Threads

The Prosentuo 68436815AB aluminum fuel filter cap is a direct-fit metal replacement for Dodge Ram Cummins engines that improves heat dissipation and provides long-lasting sealing compared with factory plastic caps.

Designed to replace OE part numbers 68436815AA and 68436815AB, this machined aluminum fuel filter cap fits 3.0L and 6.7L Cummins-equipped Dodge Ram trucks from 2019 through 2024. Built from a corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy, the cap uses metal threads and a stable sealing surface to resist deformation across wide temperature swings. The result is a replacement cap that stands up to repeated service, reduces oil overheating risk by shedding heat more efficiently, and helps prevent leaks that can follow aging plastic components.

How does this cap reduce oil temperature and sludge buildup?

The cap’s aluminum construction conducts heat away from the filter housing faster than plastic, helping the fuel and nearby oil circuits run cooler under heavy load. Faster heat transfer lowers the chance for heat-related breakdown of fluids and can reduce conditions that encourage sludge formation.

• High thermal conductivity aluminum alloy for faster heat dissipation
• Metal threads that won't deform from repeated service
• Reduced localized heat soak on the filter housing

Will this cap stop oil leaks better than the original plastic cap?

Yes—metal’s predictable expansion characteristics and the precision-machined sealing surface help maintain a tight fit with the sealing ring across temperature cycles. This stability reduces the chance of leaks that can occur when plastic caps warp, crack, or become brittle over time.

• Stable thermal expansion reduces deformation risk
• Tight, durable sealing surface designed for long-term use
• Less prone to cracking in high heat or becoming brittle in cold

Which vehicles and part numbers is it compatible with?

This Prosentuo cap is made for Dodge Ram models using Cummins engines and directly replaces part numbers 68436815AA and 68436815AB. Confirm vehicle year and engine size to ensure proper fit before purchase.

• Fits 2020–2023 Dodge Ram 1500 3.0L Cummins
• Fits 2019–2024 Dodge Ram 2500/3500/4500/5500 6.7L Cummins
• Direct replacement for 68436815AA and 68436815AB

How durable is the cap for repeated maintenance and tough conditions?

The cap’s metal threads and alloy body are engineered for repeated disassembly and reinstallation during routine oil and filter service. The material selection and machining process aim to resist wear, impact, and thermal cycling better than typical plastic caps.

• Metal threads provide higher hardness and wear resistance
• Corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy for longer service life
• Manufactured to resist deformation from thermal cycling
