Proster Pneumatic Rivet Gun Kit with 5 Nosepieces & 500 Rivets — 3-Claw Aluminum, Silencer, Quick-Return

Proster Pneumatic Rivet Gun Kit is a ready-to-use air-powered blind-rivet tool with five interchangeable nosepieces and 500 assorted rivets for fast, consistent panel fastening.

This kit combines a durable, aircraft-grade aluminum rivet gun with a 3-claw gripping system, five nosepiece sizes (3/32" to 1/4"), and a bulk assortment of blind rivets so you can start jobs the moment the box is opened. Its quick-return cylinder and included silencer make it suited for continuous shop work, garage projects, and light industrial use. The kit also carries Global Recycled Standard (GRS 4.0) certification, reflecting recycled-material construction and supply-chain traceability.

How does the tool ensure secure, repeatable rivet setting?

The Proster gun uses a 3-claw, 360° gripping mechanism that centers the rivet mandrel and pulls evenly, reducing wobble and misfires. An extra set of jaw pieces is provided to extend service life and limit interruptions during heavy use.

• Three-prong jaws for balanced mandrel extraction
• Extra jaw set included to minimize downtime
• Pre-installed and four additional nosepieces to match rivet diameters
• Silencer reduces noise and speeds cycle return

Which rivet sizes and quantities are included, and what can I fasten?

The kit supplies 500 blind rivets across five diameters to cover common sheet-metal, aluminum framing, and light structural work. Use the matching nosepiece for each rivet size to ensure proper pull and break-off of the mandrel.

• Assortment: 2.4mm (100 pcs), 3.2mm (150 pcs), 4.0mm (130 pcs), 4.8mm (100 pcs), 6.4mm (20 pcs)
• Nosepieces included: 3/32", 1/8", 5/32", 3/16", 1/4"
• Designed for steel, iron, and aluminum rivets (avoid stainless-steel rivets)
• One nosepiece pre-installed for immediate use

What air requirements and durability features should I plan for?

The gun uses a U.S.-spec air inlet and is engineered for fast return strokes, making it suitable for production-speed riveting with a compatible compressor. Construction from aircraft-grade aluminum keeps the tool lightweight while maintaining strength for repeated cycles.

• U.S.-spec air inlet for standard couplers
• Rapid cylinder return for high-rate operation
• Silencer included to lower operating noise
• Certified recycled materials (GRS 4.0) reduce environmental footprint

Why might a rivet require more than one pull stroke?

Longer rivet lengths sometimes exceed the single-stroke travel of the gun; rivets in the 10–16 mm length range often need two pulls to properly set and fracture the mandrel. This is a normal mechanical limitation, not a defect.

• Rivets 10–16 mm may require two strokes
• Use correct nosepiece and jaw set for best results
• Check rivet grip and material thickness before final pull

Who is this for? The Proster Pneumatic Rivet Gun Kit fits home mechanics, fabrication shops, restoration hobbyists, and light-industrial teams who need a reliable, quick-install blind-rivet solution with spare jaws and a broad rivet assortment. It's ideal when you want a compact, lightweight air tool that starts working right away and supports a range of common panel and bracket fastening tasks without frequent part changes.
