Purolator PurolatorONE Cartridge Oil Filter PL11760 — Elantra/Kona Fit, 99% Dirt Capture

Purolator PL11760 is a PurolatorONE cartridge oil filter engineered to protect Hyundai Elantra (2021–2024) and Hyundai Kona (2022–2024) engines with up to 99% dirt removal and extended protection between oil changes.

This PurolatorONE cartridge combines a high-density synthetic blend media with a leak-resistant gasket to provide reliable filtration and simple cartridge replacement. Designed for modern passenger vehicles, the PL11760 supports longer service intervals—when used with compatible oils and following manufacturer guidance—while using fewer metal parts for easier recycling. It’s a direct-replacement-style filter intended for those who want durable engine protection without complicated installation steps.

How does the Purolator PL11760 improve engine protection?

The filter’s synthetic blend media captures a high percentage of contaminants, reducing abrasive particles that wear engine components. Its expanded dirt-holding capacity means it maintains flow and filtration efficiency as it loads with debris.

• High-density synthetic blend stops up to 99% of dirt particles
• Expanded media area increases contaminant capacity
• Maintains oil flow while trapping harmful particles

Will this filter fit my Hyundai Elantra or Kona models?

PL11760 is listed as compatible with 2021–2024 Hyundai Elantra and 2022–2024 Hyundai Kona models; always confirm exact fitment for your engine code and trim before purchase. Use the vehicle fitment tool or your vehicle’s owner manual to verify the cartridge-style filter design matches your oil filter housing.

• Direct cartridge replacement style for compatible Hyundai housings
• Check fitment against VIN, model year, and engine variant
• Compatible with a wide range of domestic and import applications

How easy is installation and maintenance with this cartridge filter?

Cartridge-style filters like the PL11760 are straightforward to install when replacing the cartridge element and reinstalling the housing cap. The PTFE-treated gasket is forgiving, heat resistant, and helps ensure a leak-free seal when torqued to specification.

• Simple cartridge replacement—no metal canister disposal
• PTFE-treated gasket offers flexible, leak-resistant sealing
• Follow vehicle torque specs and replace gasket if recommended

What sustainability or service-life benefits does this filter offer?

The cartridge design minimizes metal components, making recycling and waste handling easier compared with full metal canister filters. The synthetic blend media is engineered to preserve filtration performance over extended intervals when used with recommended oils and service practices.

• Fewer metal parts simplifies recycling and reduces waste
• Media engineered for longer-lasting filtration performance
• Suitable for extended protection up to manufacturer-recommended intervals

Who is this for: The Purolator PL11760 is suited for owners of compatible Hyundai Elantra and Kona models who want an OEM-style cartridge filter with strong particle capture, a durable PTFE-treated gasket, and a design that simplifies disposal. It’s a practical choice for DIYers and professional technicians seeking reliable filtration, reduced environmental impact, and an option that supports longer oil service intervals when used according to vehicle and oil manufacturer recommendations.
