PYXGLAQ RV Propane Regulator 2-Tank Kit — Automatic Changeover, Brass 2-Stage Regulator with Gauge

PYXGLAQ's two-tank, two-stage RV propane regulator kit automatically switches between tanks and delivers steady, regulated LP gas to campers and trailers.

Designed for RVs, campers, trailers and outdoor gas appliances, this PYXGLAQ kit combines a durable brass changeover regulator with two stainless-braided pigtail hoses that include a glow-in-the-dark tank gauge. The system keeps pressure consistent while indicating which cylinder is in use and when a refill is needed. Built to resist corrosion and field wear, the components meet CSA-style safety expectations for recreational propane setups.

How does the automatic changeover keep my appliances running?

The regulator automatically routes flow from the primary tank to the reserve tank when the primary is depleted, preventing interruption to your stove, heater or refrigerator. It uses a two-stage pressure control to maintain steady outlet pressure as tank pressure drops. An indicator changes color to show which cylinder is supplying gas and when a cylinder is empty.

• Automatic switching between primary and reserve tanks
• Two-stage regulator maintains consistent outlet pressure
• Visual indicator shows active and depleted tanks
• Works while refilling — no service downtime

What materials and safety features are included?

The regulator body and fittings are solid brass for corrosion resistance and rugged outdoor use. Hoses are stainless-steel braided for flexibility, heat resistance and improved puncture protection. Safety elements include excess-flow protection and an automatic shut-off to minimize hazards from leaks or sudden failures.

• 100% solid brass connectors and regulator housing
• Stainless braided pigtails resist weathering and abrasion
• Excess-flow and automatic shut-off for added safety
• CSA-style certified components for recreational use

How do I install and monitor the system on my RV?

Installation connects the regulator to two standard LP cylinders using the included QCC1 1/4" inverted flare pigtails and secures the outlet to your RV’s 3/8" NPT inlet. The gauge on each hose shows remaining liquid without moving the tank, and the glow-in-the-dark dial improves readability at night. The kit ships with Teflon tape and a wrench to simplify hookups.

• Connect pigtails to both cylinder valves (QCC1, 1/4" inverted flare)
• Attach regulator outlet to RV 3/8" NPT female inlet
• Use included Teflon tape for leak-resistant threads
• Read gauge lights for tank level at night
