This RADHLBNIU carburetor kit is designed as a direct-fit remedy for worn or damaged carburetors on small tractors and lawn equipment powered by Kohler K321 and K341 14HP–16HP cast iron engines. It matches the common OEM references (4505355, 45-053-55, 45-053-55-S) and includes the essential gaskets and a fuel filter so you can replace the whole assembly with fewer trips to the parts store. The unit is intended to restore reliable fuel delivery and consistent engine idling when installed and adjusted according to the engine manufacturer's guidance.

Will this carburetor fit my Kohler K321 or K341 engine?

Yes — this replacement is manufactured to fit Kohler K321 and K341 14HP and 16HP cast iron engine models that use the referenced carburetor part numbers. Confirm compatibility by checking your engine model and the OEM part number printed on your original carburetor or equipment parts list.

• Replaces part numbers: 4505355, 45-053-55, 45-053-55-S
• Designed for Kohler K321 and K341 14HP and 16HP engines
• Commonly used on Club Cadet 1600/1650 and John Deere 314/316 models
• Works where the mounting pattern and throttle linkage match OEM geometry

How easy is installation and what comes in the package?

The kit includes the carburetor plus the gaskets and a fuel filter to simplify replacement; basic hand tools and moderate mechanical skill are typically all that's required. Follow the engine manual for safe disconnection of fuel lines and throttle linkages, then transfer any external linkage or choke parts as needed.

• Contents: 1 carburetor, 4 gaskets, 1 fuel filter, assorted mounting hardware
• Installation requires removing fuel lines, throttle link, and old gaskets
• Careful gasket placement and torque of mounting bolts prevents leaks
• Adjust idle and mixture per Kohler specifications after fitting

What performance improvements should I expect after replacing the carburetor?

Replacing a worn or clogged carburetor can restore smoother idling, more reliable starting, and steadier throttle response under load. While this replacement addresses fuel metering and delivery, overall performance also depends on air filter condition, ignition components, and correct engine tuning.

• Improves fuel flow and consistent idle when correctly installed
• Reduces stalling and rough running caused by worn carburetor parts
• Includes a new fuel filter to protect the carburetor from debris
• Does not replace ignition or compression-related maintenance needs

Are there any maintenance tips after fitting the new carburetor?

After installation, check for fuel leaks and verify idle speed and mixture settings; re-check after a short break-in run. Replace or clean the air filter and inspect fuel lines to keep the carburetor functioning well over time.

• Inspect for fuel leaks at fittings and gasket surfaces
• Run the engine to temperature and re-adjust idle/mix if necessary
• Use a clean fuel filter and consider fresh fuel to prevent clogging
• Periodically check throttle linkages and choke operation for wear
