Built for RV plumbing repairs, upgrades, and new installs, this solid-plastic T-shaped fitting accepts three ½" lines and creates a tight seal by tightening the threaded compression ends. It works with ½" PEX and gray poly-style tubing, resists rust and cracking, and the compression connection is rated to 90 PSI. Installation is quick—no crimp rings, soldering, or plumbers’ tape required—but do not use lubricant when installing to preserve the compression seal. Available as single pieces, 2-packs, or 5-packs for convenience when stocking a service kit.
The design removes several traditional installation steps: you simply insert tubing and tighten the compression fitting to form the seal. That reduces labor and the need to carry crimp tools or rings during travel repairs.
Yes: the fitting accepts standard ½" PEX tubing and gray poly-type tubing used in many RV systems. Confirm your line outside diameter matches ½" specification for a reliable seal.
The compression seal is engineered to withstand typical RV water pressures up to 90 PSI when installed properly, delivering a dependable joint without metal corrosion issues.
Installation is straightforward: cut tubing square, push into the fitting, then tighten the nut to compress the seal. No plumber’s tape, crimp rings, or special tools are required, though a wrench can help achieve extra torque if needed. Important: do not use lubricant on the fitting during assembly.
Who is this for: Installers, RV owners, and mobile-home technicians who need a fast, corrosion-resistant way to split or redirect water lines will find this fitting useful. It’s also a practical choice for DIYers stocking a repair kit because it reduces the toolset required and fits common ½" PEX and gray tubing used throughout RV water systems.
Q: Can I use this fitting with other tubing sizes?
A: No, it’s made for ½" PEX and compatible gray poly tubing. Use correct OD tubing for a reliable compression seal.
Q: Do I need special tools to install it?
A: No crimp tools are required; hand tighten to compress. A wrench can be used for extra torque if needed.
