RMSTATOR's DVA adapter converts standard multimeter probes into a tool that captures and displays peak voltage readings quickly and reliably.
Designed as an aftermarket replacement and accessory for technicians, hobbyists, and electricians, the RMSTATOR Voltage Peak Reading Adapter (DVA Adapter) fits onto common multimeter probes to allow peak detection that many basic meters cannot record on their own. This compact, tested module is built to work alongside most handheld multimeters and extends their ability to measure transient or pulsed voltages without replacing your meter.
The adapter conditions incoming signals so the multimeter can capture rapid voltage spikes that are otherwise missed. It works inline with probe leads and holds the peak value long enough for the meter to register it, so transient events become measurable with ordinary meters.
The DVA adapter is ideal when you need to detect short-lived voltage spikes, pulsed outputs, or peak values in power electronics, ignition systems, or waveform testing. It’s not a substitute for oscilloscope-level analysis but gives a quick, portable way to capture peaks in the field.
The adapter is designed to integrate with most multimeter probe sets; it accepts standard probe connections and presents a meter-friendly output. Before use, confirm your meter input type and voltage range to ensure safe, compatible operation.
Who is this for? The RMSTATOR DVA Voltage Peak Reading Adapter suits technicians, electricians, hobbyists, and engineers who need a portable, cost-effective way to catch short-duration voltage events without buying an oscilloscope. It’s also useful as a replacement or spare part for service kits, offering quick installation, tested reliability, and straightforward compatibility with common multimeters.
Q: Can I use the DVA adapter with any multimeter?
A: It fits most multimeters with standard probe connections, but check your meter's input ratings for voltage and impedance first.
Q: Does the adapter store peak readings automatically?
A: It holds peak values long enough for manual reading on your multimeter; it does not provide long-term data logging.
