RVSNAIL RV Step 1-Step Manual Retractable Foldable Aluminum Camper Step, 440 lb Capacity, Non-Slip

The RVSNAIL 1-step manual retractable RV step is a compact, heavy-duty folding entry step that installs under an RV, trailer, or camper to provide a stable, non-slip platform supporting up to 440 pounds.

Engineered for campers, trailers, and motorhomes, this single-step unit combines lightweight aluminum with thickened steel support plates to balance portability and strength. It folds away beneath the doorway to save space, deploys in seconds by hand, and uses a powder-coated steel frame and textured anti-slip tread to resist wear, rust, and wet conditions. The step ships with M10 bolts and nuts and 12 mounting holes to secure under most RV door openings, and it includes a one-year warranty for added peace of mind.

How does the RVSNAIL step make entering my RV easier?

Deploying and folding the step is purely manual and intuitive: a simple push or pull flips the step into place or stores it beneath the threshold. Its wide tread offers a confident footing while the non-slip strips add traction in rain or snow.

• Quick push/pull manual folding—no tools to operate each time
• Wide, textured step surface reduces missteps
• Non-slip black strips increase traction in wet conditions
• One-step height designed for common RV floor levels

Will this step support heavier users and gear?

The RVSNAIL step is rated to support up to 440 pounds, built from an aluminum alloy tread and reinforced with thickened steel plates to distribute load. That capacity covers most adult users plus light gear or a hand-carried load during entry and exit.

• 440 lb (approx.) rated load capacity for stable footing
• Aluminum alloy tread for strength without excessive weight
• Steel support plates with powder-coating for added rigidity
• 12 mounting holes to fasten the load securely to the vehicle frame

How durable is the finish and how does it resist the elements?

Durability is achieved by combining corrosion-resistant aluminum and a powder-coated steel frame. The coating protects steel components from rust and scuffing, while the aluminum tread resists bending and holds its shape over time.

• Powder-coated steel plates resist rust and abrasion
• Aluminum alloy step reduces corrosion and deformation
• Non-slip strips maintain traction after exposure to wet conditions
• Designed for repeated fold/unfold cycles on long trips

How simple is installation and what hardware is included?

Installation uses a drill-hole mounting method and the step includes four sets of M10 bolts and nuts to anchor the frame. Position the step under the door, mark the 12 mounting holes, drill, and secure with the supplied fasteners for a solid attachment.

• Includes 4 sets of M10 bolts and nuts for mounting
• 12 pre-drilled mounting holes for stable fixation
• Standard drill-hole installation fits most RV door sills
• Clear instructions and one-year warranty for support

Who is this for: The RVSNAIL 1-step manual retractable step is ideal for RV owners, trailer campers, and weekend nomads who want a low-profile, sturdy entry solution that folds away when not in use. It suits anyone who needs a durable, weather-resistant step with high weight capacity and simple, tool-free daily operation — especially helpful for families, older adults, and travelers carrying light gear in and out of their vehicle.
