ryvclim Engine & Cabin Air Filter Kit for Honda Civic 1.5L (2016–2021) — HEPA cabin + engine filter, removal tool

Ryvclim’s Engine & Cabin Air Filter Kit replaces both the engine intake filter and HEPA cabin filter in Honda Civic 1.5L models (2016–2021) to help restore airflow and improve in-cabin air cleanliness.

If you drive a Honda Civic with the 1.5L turbo engine from 2016 through 2021, this two-filter kit gives you the parts needed to refresh engine breathing and cabin air at the same time. The package includes a high-efficiency cabin HEPA-style filter plus a matching engine air filter, and it comes with a simple removal tool to speed the job in tight engine bays. The kit is designed specifically for compatible Honda applications (not for 2.0L or hybrid models) and is intended to be a direct, easy-to-install replacement.

How will these filters affect engine performance and airflow?

The engine air filter is built to trap airborne debris while maintaining sufficient airflow to the intake system. Cleaner airflow reduces strain on the intake and can help systems that rely on proper air volume to perform as intended. This is a replacement part aimed at preserving original equipment airflow characteristics rather than modifying performance.

• Engine filter sized for Honda Civic 1.5L 2016–2021 fitment.
• Media captures dust and particulates before they enter the intake.
• Designed to maintain OEM-style airflow and engine protection.
• Includes removal tool for quicker filter replacement in cramped spaces.

What does the HEPA-style cabin filter do for in-car air quality?

The cabin filter uses high-efficiency media to capture dust, pollen and many fine particles from incoming ventilation air. It helps reduce particulates delivered through the HVAC system, improving perceived cabin freshness and reducing deposits on vents and interior surfaces. It is not a medical device but supports cleaner cabin air for everyday driving.

• HEPA-style media traps fine airborne particles and allergens.
• Fits the Civic cabin filter housing for a direct replacement.
• Helps maintain HVAC performance by reducing internal contamination.
• Packaged for simultaneous replacement with the engine filter.

Is installation difficult and what tools are included?

Installation is designed to be straightforward for anyone comfortable with basic vehicle maintenance. The kit includes a dedicated removal tool to help loosen and extract old filters from tight spaces where access is limited. Most home mechanics can complete both replacements with common hand tools and the provided removal aid.

• Removal tool included for stubborn cabin or engine filters.
• Direct-fit parts require no trimming or modification.
• Typical install time: 15–45 minutes depending on experience.
• Instructions are simple; professional service optional if preferred.

Which vehicles does this filter kit fit, and what should I avoid?

This kit is intended for Honda Civic models with the 1.5L turbo engine from 2016 through 2021. It also fits specific CR-V 1.5L model years noted on the product listing, but it is not compatible with 2.0L or hybrid variants. Always verify part numbers CF11182 (engine) and CA12050 (cabin) against your vehicle before purchase.

• Compatible: Honda Civic 1.5L (2016–2021) — not for 2.0L engines.
• Compatible CR-V 1.5L (selected 2017–2022 non-hybrid models) as listed.
• Not compatible with hybrid or 2.0L engine variants.
• Check OEM part numbers CF11182 and CA12050 for confirmation.

Who is this kit for: drivers who want an OEM-fit replacement set to maintain proper engine intake function and reduce cabin particulates in compatible Honda vehicles. It’s suitable for DIYers replacing routine maintenance items, fleet vehicles needing consistent filter changes, and owners who prefer replacing engine and cabin filters together for convenience.
