Safoner Aluminum RV Screen Door Closer — Black interior mount, adjustable tension, corrosion-resistant

Safoner Aluminum RV Screen Door Closer is a compact, adjustable spring mechanism that automatically and smoothly closes your RV screen door to keep insects out and improve safety.

The Safoner screen door closer is an aluminum, black-finished accessory designed for motorhomes, travel trailers, and camper vans. It mounts inside the RV and uses a tensioned spring to pull the screen closed after use. Built for durability and easy adjustment, this version improves on earlier models with finer tension control and corrosion-resistant materials for dependable everyday operation.

How does this closer install on my RV screen door?

Installation is straightforward and does not require special tools beyond a screwdriver. The unit mounts on the inside frame and aligns so the spring engages the sliding or hinged screen without blocking movement.

• Requires at least 0.4" of clearance at the mounting point; 0.9" or more recommended.
• Mounting hardware fits most framed RV screen doors; confirm no obstruction with sliding panels.
• Simple side- or top-mounted placement depending on door orientation.

What adjustments can I make for different door weights?

The closer includes an adjustable tension mechanism so you can tune the closing force for light mesh screens or heavier framed doors. Adjustments let you achieve a gentle pull or a firmer snap depending on your preference and door mass.

• Turn the tension control to increase or decrease closing speed.
• Fine-tune for pets, children, or high-wind conditions to avoid slamming.
• Upgraded internal spring improves responsiveness and longevity.

Will this keep bugs and drafts out while staying safe for kids and pets?

When set correctly, the closer brings the screen fully shut, helping reduce insect entry and preventing small children or pets from wandering out unattended. It is an accessory to enhance safety and convenience rather than a locking mechanism.

• Promotes a reliable seal by pulling screens closed after passing through.
• Adjust tension so closure is secure but not hazardous for little hands.
• Compatible with additional latches or childproofing devices as needed.

How durable is the Safoner closer for long-term RV use?

Constructed from aluminum with a black finish, the closer resists corrosion and integrates visually with common RV interior hardware. The improved tension control and robust spring aim to extend service life under frequent use.

• Aluminum body resists rust in humid or coastal environments.
• Black finish matches typical handles, latches, and bars for a cohesive look.
• Upgraded components reduce the need for frequent replacement.

Who is this for: The Safoner Aluminum RV Screen Door Closer is ideal for RV owners who want a compact, reliable way to ensure their screen doors close automatically—campers who prioritize pest control, families with small children or pets, and anyone seeking an unobtrusive upgrade to standard screen hardware. It suits most framed RV screens that meet the minimum clearance requirements and pairs well with existing latches and safety accessories.
