SAMOUT Recovery Board Mount Kit — Universal Bracket for Traction Boards, Black Stainless Steel, Lockable

SAMOUT Recovery Board Mount Kit is a universal, lockable bracket set that secures traction boards to roof racks, crossbars, cargo baskets and bed racks with adjustable pins and anti-theft features.

This kit provides a flexible, corrosion-resistant mounting solution for a wide range of recovery boards, including many MaxTrax and ARB-style models, by accommodating multiple hole spacings and common rack types. Built from thick stainless steel with a black powder coat, the design focuses on easy installation, vibration resistance, and theft deterrence while giving you parts to adapt to different rack channels and platforms.

How does this mount fit different recovery boards?

The SAMOUT bracket set accepts boards with narrow to wide hole spacing so you can attach most popular traction boards without drilling or modifying the board. Vertical and horizontal pin options let you adapt to 135mm (5.3in) spacing up to 270mm (10.63in) spacing used by many MAXTRAX and ARB styles.

• Fits hole spacings from 135mm to 270mm for broad compatibility.
• Includes multiple pin lengths and silicone columns for secure fit.
• Works with common recovery board mounting hole patterns without modification.

Will it mount on my roof rack, crossbar, or cargo basket?

The universal design assembles to a variety of racks and platforms, whether you have crossbars, a cargo basket, rooftop platform, or bed rack. Use channel nuts or T-bolts compatible with your rack’s slide rails for a clean, low-profile attachment.

• Compatible with cargo baskets, crossbars, bed racks and rooftop platforms.
• Adaptable to slide rails when proper channel nuts or T-bolts are available.
• Not all supplied parts are required—kit includes options for different rack styles.

How does the kit prevent theft and stay tight under vibration?

Anti-theft locking holes at the top of the mounting pins let you apply your own padlock or combination lock (not included) to deter removal. Vibration-resistant components such as silicone columns, flat washers, and nylon-insert lock nuts keep the assembly from loosening during off-road use.

• Top-pin locking holes ready for user-supplied locks to deter theft.
• Hexagonal handle nuts for easy hand operation even with gloves on.
• Includes silicone columns, washers, and nylon lock nuts to resist vibration loosening.
