Samramra 7 Way Trailer Wire Harness Kit 50ft — 14‑Gauge 7‑Conductor Heavy‑Duty PVC Jacket, Color‑Coded

Samramra's 7 Way Trailer Wire Harness Kit is a 50-foot, 14-gauge, seven-conductor trailer cable engineered for reliable 12V trailer connections across RVs, campers, utility trailers, boats and trucks.

This heavy-duty wiring kit combines stranded 14 AWG copper-clad aluminum conductors with a rugged black PVC jacket and a cloth protect layer to simplify installation and withstand harsh conditions. Each conductor is color-coded to SAE standards so you can hook up tail lights, turn signals, brakes and reverse lights with minimal confusion. The length and build quality make it suitable for long runs and professional or DIY projects where durability and flexibility matter.

How does this cable make trailer wiring easier?

The seven wires are clearly color-coded to match standard trailer pinouts, reducing guesswork during splicing or plug installation. The stranded construction helps the cable flex without breaking, and the outer jacket resists oils and abrasion for a neater, longer-lasting installation.

• Seven SAE-color-coded conductors (Black, Brown, Blue, Red, Green, Yellow, White)
• Stranded 14 AWG CCA for improved flexibility and conductivity
• Black PVC jacket resists moisture, oil and abrasion
• Cloth protective layer prevents wire powdering when stripping

Will this harness handle outdoor and seasonal conditions?

The jacket and conductor materials are selected to retain flexibility in a wide temperature range and to resist common outdoor hazards. While not intended to replace marine-grade tinned copper in corrosive saltwater environments, it performs well for most road, camping and utility uses.

• PVC outer jacket designed for heat and cold durability (usable below freezing)
• Resistant to oil, abrasion and everyday moisture exposure
• Cloth insulation layer protects conductors during stripping and installation

Is this cable suitable for professional or DIY installations?

Yes—this 50-foot length and 14-gauge stranded conductors suit both professional technicians and home installers. The clear color coding and protective layers reduce installation time, and the cable length covers longer trailer runs without splicing.

• 50-foot run eliminates many mid-run joins
• Color-coded wires speed up matching to 7-pin sockets
• Durable jacket supports underbody routing and conventional mounting

What electrical functions does each wire support?

The seven conductors follow common 7-pin trailer wiring conventions to carry lighting, braking and auxiliary signals between tow vehicle and trailer. Confirm pinouts with your trailer's connector diagram before final connections to ensure correct function mapping.

• Power and ground for lights, brakes, reverse and auxiliary functions
• Standard SAE color mapping for easy identification
• 14 AWG strand size balances current capacity and flexibility

Who is this for: The Samramra 7 Way Trailer Wire Harness Kit is aimed at RV owners, tow-vehicle installers, trailer repair shops, landscapers and hobbyists who need a long, flexible, easy-to-identify 7-wire cable for 12V trailer systems. If you want a robust, straightforward wiring run for trailers, campers, boats (non-marine saltwater exposed), or food trucks and prefer fewer splices and clear wire identifications, this kit is a practical, cost-effective choice.
