SHADEPLUS RV slide topper replacement fabric 49" x 170" White — 18oz vinyl, UV & waterproof

SHADEPLUS 49" x 170" white slide topper fabric is a universal, heavy-duty vinyl replacement for RV slide out awnings that resists UV, water and cold while allowing custom cutting to fit most 5th wheels, travel trailers and motorhomes.

If your slide out topper shows holes, heavy fading or leaks, replacing the fabric restores protection and appearance without replacing the entire assembly. This SHADEPLUS replacement uses 18oz three-layer vinyl, hot-air welded seams and integrated poly cords so you can trim and install a precise fit. It’s sold as white fabric only in a 49" x 170" panel designed to work with common slide topper configurations on a wide range of RVs.

How durable is this SHADEPLUS slide topper against weather and wear?

The material is a reinforced 18oz three-layer vinyl engineered for outdoor exposure. It resists UV fading, sheds water and tolerates extreme low temperatures without ripping, providing a long-lasting shield for the top of your slide out.

• 18oz three-layer vinyl construction for strength
• UV resistant finish to slow sun-driven fading
• Waterproof surface that encourages runoff, preventing pooling
• Cold-resistant to withstand very low temperatures without tearing

Can I customize the size to fit my specific RV slide topper?

Yes — the fabric is manufactured with hot-air welded edges and integrated poly cords, which prevent unraveling when cut. Large panels like 170" length can be trimmed to match shorter slide toppers or split into two pieces for multiple uses, making it highly adaptable.

• Hot-air welded seams—no stitching that can fray when trimmed
• Cut to exact length for one or multiple slide toppers
• Includes two poly cords (0.22" and 0.26" diameters) for standard connections
• Works for long panels (e.g., can be divided for 250"/300" scenarios)

How straightforward is installation and will it fit my RV brand?

The replacement is designed as a universal fit: two poly cords are provided to attach to both the slide topper and RV body. While exact hardware and channel sizes vary by manufacturer, the included cord diameters match common OEM profiles and simplify retrofitting most slide out toppers.

• Universal design intended to fit most RV brands and models
• Two cord sizes: 0.22" for slide topper track, 0.26" for RV body attachment
• Trim-to-fit format to adapt to different channel lengths and shapes
• Replacement fabric renews function without replacing framework

What practical benefits will I notice after replacing the fabric?

New fabric restores water-shedding and UV protection, reduces the risk of leaks into the slide room, and improves the exterior look of your RV. Because the material is robust, you’ll also reduce the need for frequent repairs and prolong the life of the slide topper system.

• Improves water runoff to prevent pooling and seepage
• Restores protection against sun damage and fading
• Refreshes the RV’s exterior appearance quickly and affordably
• Minimizes short-term maintenance and potential interior damage

Who is this for: RV owners with worn, torn or sun-damaged slide out toppers who want a cost-effective, universal replacement that can be trimmed to fit. It’s ideal for DIY installers, service shops updating multiple toppers, and owners of 5th wheels, motorhomes or travel trailers seeking a durable white fabric panel sized at 49" x 170" to restore protection and appearance without replacing the frame.
