SHEEPSKIN ELITE genuine sheepskin chamois drying cloth 5 sq ft — super‑absorbent, lint‑free finish

SHEEPSKIN ELITE Chamois Drying Cloth is a genuine sheepskin leather shammy that soaks up water quickly, leaves a lint-free finish, and protects paint from scratches.

If you prefer natural materials over synthetic drying towels, this 5 sq ft genuine sheepskin chamois offers high absorbency, a soft touch, and versatile use around cars, boats and delicate surfaces. Tanned with deep-sea cod oil for pliability, the leather is designed to expand when wet to trap and retain water for faster, streak-free drying.

How quickly does the chamois absorb water?

The sheepskin leather swells when wet and draws water into its fibers fast, reducing drying time compared with many synthetic towels. It holds a large volume of water and releases it only when wrung, so you can dry broad panels without frequent refills.

• Made from genuine sheepskin leather tanned with deep-sea cod oil for high absorption
• Expands when wet to increase surface area and water retention
• Wringable for easy water removal and repeated use during a wash session

Will it scratch paint or leave lint?

The leather surface is naturally soft and designed to be anti-scratch when used correctly, making it safe for automotive paint, glass and polished metals. It leaves a clean, lint-free finish if washed before first use and cared for gently.

• Natural sheepskin is soft with good extensibility to conform to surfaces
• Lint-free finish suitable for paint, windows and interiors
• Wash with warm water and mild soap before first use to remove particles

What other uses does this shammy have besides drying cars?

This versatile leather cloth works for more than vehicles — it’s useful for boats, camera lenses, screens and musical instruments where gentle, absorbent cloth is needed. Its soft texture and high absorbency make it a reliable tool for any delicate surface that benefits from fast, scratch-free drying.

• Safe for automotive bodywork, windows and interiors
• Useful for marine applications, camera lenses, and electronics screens
• Handy for household polishing and quick spill pickup

How do I clean and store the chamois to keep it effective?

Rinse and gently hand wash with warm water and mild soap before first use and after heavy use. Avoid harsh chemicals, wring gently to remove water, and store in a cool shaded area to maintain softness and longevity.

• First use: wash with warm water and mild soap to remove tiny particles
• Do not expose to direct sunlight or harsh detergents; avoid machine drying
• Store folded in a dry, shaded place to preserve oils and suppleness
