RVShield is a 30-amp RV surge protector and power manager that immediately cuts power at 200°F and combines surge, ground-fault and voltage protections plus an adjustable A/C restart delay.
When you plug into campground power you need more than a basic surge strip — you need a device that watches temperature, wiring faults and voltage behavior constantly and responds instantly. The SKYFISH RVShield sits between the pedestal and your RV, showing live voltage, amps, kWh and temperature while protecting sensitive appliances and preventing overheating that can lead to fires. It’s a plug-and-play 30A unit designed for travel trailers, campers, Class C and many Class A rigs on 30-amp shore power.
RVShield has an internal thermal sensor that monitors internal temperature and performs a complete power cut if the unit reaches 200°F (93°C). Unlike protectors that only react to voltage spikes, RVShield stops dangerous overheating at the plug or cord before insulation melts and arcing can begin.
Alongside 4200 joules of surge suppression, RVShield adds ground-fault detection and fast automatic power cut-off for a wide range of wiring problems. It recognizes reversed polarity, open ground, over- and under-voltage, frequency issues and leakage current that many simple protectors miss.
RVShield prevents hard restarts that stress and damage air conditioner compressors by letting you choose a delay before reconnecting the A/C after power returns. Options include 0, 30 and 180 seconds so you can match older or newer systems and reduce the risk of a costly compressor repair.
RVShield gives clear, readable feedback on a freeze-proof LED display so you can decode faults fast and relay the issue to campground staff or troubleshoot yourself. The screen reports live voltage, amperage, accumulated kWh and temperature, and shows specific error codes like E0–E8 for rapid diagnosis.
Built for outdoor use, RVShield is rated NEMA 3R for weather resistance and includes a lock slot to deter theft. It’s a one-year warranty product with U.S. support, designed for frequent travelers, long-term residents and anyone who wants automated, visible protection for their RV’s electrical system.
Who is this for? RVShield is for RV owners who plug into shore power and want robust, automated protection beyond basic surge strips: those who camp seasonally or full-time, run one or two rooftop air conditioners, or simply want a durable, weatherproof device that prevents overheating, wiring faults and costly A/C compressor failures while giving clear diagnostic information.
Q: Does RVShield work with any 30-amp RV?
A: Yes. RVShield is plug-and-play for standard 30A shore power setups in travel trailers, campers, Class C and many Class A rigs.
Q: What happens when RVShield reaches 200°F?
A: It performs a full power cut and displays error code E5; you can reconnect once the unit cools down.
