SMTRUILAN Audio Control Switch is a direct-fit replacement steering wheel media control for 2011–2014 Ford F-150 models, restoring volume, track change, and phone functions to your driver’s controls.

If the audio buttons on your 2011–2014 Ford F-150 have stopped responding, become sticky, or look worn, this SMTRUILAN replacement switch offers a practical, OEM-style solution. It matches the original equipment part numbers SW6880, SW-6880, AL3Z9C888CA, and AL3Z-9C888-CA and is built to accept the factory connector for a straightforward swap. The assembly returns steering-wheel access to volume, track selection, and hands-free call control so you don’t have to reach for the dash while driving.

How will this switch restore my steering wheel audio controls?

The SMTRUILAN unit replicates the original switch layout and electrical contacts so button presses register the same as the factory part. Once installed, you regain tactile control for volume adjustment, song/track changes and answering calls without distracting from driving.

• Direct-replacement for the OE part numbers listed.
• Restores volume up/down, next/previous track, and call answer functions.
• Pressed-button feel matches factory operation for reliable inputs.

Is this compatible with my Ford F-150, and how do I check fitment?

This switch is compatible with 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 Ford F-150 models that use the corresponding steering wheel audio control module. Confirm fitment by comparing your existing part number to SW6880 / AL3Z9C888CA or visually matching the connector type.

• Fits 2011–2014 Ford F-150 where original OE numbers match.
• Verify your current part number against SW6880 or AL3Z-9C888-CA.
• Compare connector shape and pin count before purchase.

What should I know about installation and handling?

Installation is intended to be straightforward for someone comfortable with removing the steering wheel trim or airbag assembly per factory guidelines. A key caution: insert the electrical connector vertically to avoid bending pins during assembly—angled insertion may damage terminals.

• Disconnect the battery and follow safety steps when accessing the airbag/steering wheel.
• Insert the connector vertically; do not angle to prevent pin damage.
• Use basic hand tools; professional installation available if unsure.

What are the construction and durability features of this replacement?

SMTRUILAN builds the switch from durable materials engineered for repeated use and resistance to wear. The assembly is designed to tolerate regular button presses and typical cabin conditions so you won’t need frequent replacements.

• Hard-wearing housing that resists daily wear and tear.
• Robust internal contacts for consistent electrical response.
• Quality finish to match the steering wheel trim appearance.
