Stoner Car Care Tarminator Tar, Sap & Asphalt Remover — 10 oz Aerosol (Pack of 3) fast-acting, safe on paint

Stoner Car Care Tarminator is a fast-acting aerosol remover that dissolves road tar, tree sap, and asphalt residue so you can spray, wait, and wipe contaminants away without heavy scrubbing.

If your vehicle shows black tar specks, sticky sap spots, or asphalt film after a drive, Tarminator is formulated to soften and lift those stubborn deposits quickly while remaining safe on modern finishes. This solvent-powered spray penetrates hardened grime in about 30–60 seconds, letting you remove buildup from paint, clear coats, chrome, bumpers, and wheels with minimal effort. It’s a convenient step for regular maintenance and a practical surface prep before polishing, waxing, or sealing, helping protect the look of your vehicle without advanced tools or complicated procedures.

How fast will Tarminator remove tar, sap, and asphalt?

The formula is engineered to act quickly — most deposits begin to break down within 30 to 60 seconds of application. Allowing the product to penetrate briefly reduces the need for abrasive scrubbing and speeds cleanup.

• Typical dwell time: 30–60 seconds for common road tar and sap
• Stubborn, thick deposits may require reapplication and light agitation
• Aerosol spray covers small spots and splatter patterns efficiently

Is this safe for my car’s paint and clear coat?

Tarminator is formulated for automotive finishes and is safe for painted surfaces, clear coats, and chrome when used as directed. It removes contaminants without dulling or discoloring, making it suitable for modern factory and aftermarket finishes.

• Test out of sight first on delicate or heavily modified finishes
• Avoid extended dwell on rubber trim or unpainted plastics to prevent swelling
• Rinse or wipe off thoroughly after contaminants dissolve

Can I use Tarminator before waxing or polishing?

Yes — it’s an effective pre-detailing step to remove embedded residues that interfere with wax and sealant adhesion. Cleaning these contaminants helps ensure a more uniform finish and longer-lasting protection from your chosen coating.

• Apply, remove tar/sap, then follow with a wash before polishing or waxing
• Improves bonding by eliminating greasy or adhesive films
• Useful for both professional detailers and DIY car owners

What surfaces and areas is Tarminator best for?

Tarminator works on body panels, bumpers, wheel faces, chrome trim, and other exterior components affected by road deposits. It’s designed to target localized splatter and residue rather than serve as a full-surface degreaser.

• Removes tar splatter from lower panels and wheel wells
• Dissolves sticky tree sap from hoods and door tops
• Cleans asphalt and adhesive residue on trim and bumpers

Who this product is for: Stoner Car Care Tarminator is aimed at car owners who want a reliable, spray-and-wipe solution for concentrated road contaminants, and professional detailers needing a fast spot-treatment tool. Made in the USA with premium ingredients, it’s a practical addition to a detailing kit for safer, quicker removal of tar, sap, and asphalt residue.
