SYKRSS engine coolant reservoir tank for Chevrolet Sonic 2012–2020 — direct-fit translucent polypropylene OE replacement

The SYKRSS 603-386 engine coolant reservoir tank is a direct-fit replacement expansion tank engineered to restore proper coolant storage and recovery for Chevrolet Sonic models from 2012–2020.

If your vehicle's original coolant recovery tank is cracked, leaking, or showing signs of age, this SYKRSS OE-standard reservoir provides a straightforward repair option. Molded from heat-resistant polypropylene to match OEM dimensions and connections, it replaces part numbers such as 95048411, 42609220, GM3014167, 603-386, 13502353 and ECA92006. The tank allows visible level checks without opening the radiator cap and reintroduces excess coolant back into the cooling system as the engine cools.

How does this tank match OEM fit and function?

The SYKRSS 603-386 is manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications for form, fit and function. It uses the same mounting points, hose connections and reservoir volume as the original part so installation is plug-and-play on compatible Chevrolet Sonic vehicles.

• Direct-replacement dimensions matched to original part numbers.
• Compatible hose ports and mounting bosses for easy installation.
• Designed to maintain system pressure and coolant recovery flow paths.

What materials and durability features does the reservoir offer?

This expansion tank is injection-molded from high-temperature polypropylene that resists heat cycling, chemical exposure and vibration typical underhood. The translucent finish permits visual antifreeze level checks while the sealed construction reduces leak risk compared with brittle, aged tanks.

• High-quality PP plastic tolerates heat and engine bay stress.
• Translucent body for quick coolant level viewing.
• Reinforced connection points to reduce cracking at hose interfaces.

How does the coolant reservoir operate within the cooling system?

The reservoir collects excess coolant when the system warms and coolant expands, then returns that fluid to the radiator as the engine cools. This reduces overpressure events, helps maintain proper coolant volume and supports the vehicle’s heater efficiency.

• Accepts overflow from the radiator during thermal expansion.
• Stores and returns coolant to maintain system volume and pressure balance.
• Prevents unnecessary coolant loss and enables visual level checks without opening the radiator cap.

What warranty and customer support does SYKRSS provide?

SYKRSS backs this coolant reservoir with a 12-month warranty and responsive customer service. If you encounter fitment issues or defects, the brand commits to address inquiries within 48 hours to deliver resolution or part replacement when applicable.

• 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturing defects.
• Customer support response within 48 hours for assistance.
• Clear compatibility listing reduces return risk when matched to vehicle years.
