TCP Global HVLP Spray Gun 2.5mm Gravity Feed — 1L Aluminum Cup, Professional Auto Paint Tool

TCP Global's Professional HVLP 2.5mm gravity-feed spray gun is a high-transfer-efficiency auto paint tool built for smooth basecoat, clearcoat, primer, and single-stage finishes.

This gravity-feed HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) spray gun combines a 2.5mm fluid tip, a 1‑liter aluminum cup and a full-baffle head assembly to help you achieve consistent atomization and repeatable patterns on automotive projects. It’s designed to pair with standard shop compressors and gives precise manual control over spray pattern, fluid flow and air pressure so finishers can dial in results for panels, bumpers and trim.

How does the 2.5mm tip affect my car painting results?

A 2.5mm fluid tip sits in the mid-range of automotive sizes, providing a balance between fine atomization and the ability to handle thicker materials. It’s well suited to basecoats, clears and most primers without excessive thinning, letting you spray smooth, even coats while maintaining good transfer efficiency.

• 2.5mm tip for versatile atomization on common auto paints
• Handles medium-viscosity materials with less thinning
• Good balance between coverage speed and finish control

What controls let me fine-tune the spray pattern and finish?

The gun includes dedicated adjustment knobs for spray pattern, fluid metering and air input so you can fine-tune the fan width, paint volume and atomization. Those mechanical controls make it straightforward to adapt the gun to different materials and working distances for consistent application.

• Pattern knob adjusts fan width from narrow to wide
• Fluid control regulates paint volume leaving the nozzle
• Air adjustment tailors atomization for different coatings

Why is a full-baffle head assembly important for a professional finish?

The full-baffle head stabilizes air and fluid flow inside the nozzle, producing a more even, uniform spray pattern across the fan. That internal consistency reduces streaks, orange peel and uneven laydown, which helps achieve a smoother, more uniform finish when applying basecoats and clears.

• Baffle design evens out spray distribution across the fan
• Reduces pattern defects like heavy centers or tails
• Supports consistent overlap for smoother layering

What practical features help during longer jobs and shop use?

The gun’s 1‑liter aluminum cup decreases refill interruptions, while the gravity-feed layout improves transfer efficiency by gravity-assisted paint delivery. Rugged construction and compatibility with standard compressors make it appropriate for repeated shop use and mobile repair tasks.

• Large 1 L aluminum cup reduces downtime for refills
• Gravity-feed design maximizes material transfer to the surface
• Durable build for routine professional or DIY work

Who this is for: Paint professionals, collision-repair shops and advanced DIY vehicle painters seeking a reliable HVLP gravity-feed gun with a versatile 2.5mm tip. It’s suited to users who want adjustable controls, a large cup for longer sessions and a stable nozzle assembly for more consistent automotive finishes. Not intended for use with materials outside manufacturer compatibility—always verify coatings and compressor requirements before use.
