TDE Explorer.Lighting LED Rock Lights 20-Pod Pure White 6500K — IP67 Waterproof, 180° Beam

TDE Explorer.Lighting 20 Pods Pure White LED Rock Lights kit is a 12V, IP67-rated underglow system with 6500K high-intensity SMD LEDs and extension wires for full-vehicle illumination.

This 20‑pod set delivers crisp, cool white lighting designed to brighten the undercarriage, wheel wells, and surrounding terrain of trucks, trailers, RVs, off‑road vehicles and passenger cars. Each pod contains 15 SMD 3528 chips offering a wide 180° beam, while the ABS housing and waterproof silicone seal protect electronics from dust, mud and water. The kit includes splitters, a power switch with a 5A fuse, self‑tapping screws, zip ties and ten long extension cords to simplify placement and reach.

How bright are these 6500K rock lights and what do they illuminate?

The 6500K color temperature produces a pure, daylight‑like white that improves contrast and detail around the vehicle at night. Pods are tuned to light the undercarriage, ground directly around the wheels and nearby obstacles rather than acting as long‑range driving lights.

• 15 high‑intensity SMD 3528 LEDs per pod for strong localized output
• 180° beam angle to cover wheel wells and ground beside the vehicle
• 6500K pure white for improved visibility in low‑light conditions
• Suitable for spotlighting steps, trailer hitches, and loading areas

Are these rock lights weather‑proof and durable for off‑road use?

The housings are molded from durable ABS and sealed with waterproof silicone to meet IP67 standards, so they resist dust and temporary immersion. That makes them appropriate for rain, splashes, mud and light snow commonly encountered during outdoor driving.

• IP67 rating — dust tight and protected against immersion up to 1m
• ABS plastic body for impact resistance and lighter weight
• Fully sealed electronics to prevent corrosion and contamination
• Built to withstand road grime, mud and typical off‑road exposure

How easy is the installation and what accessories are included?

This kit ships with wiring splitters and ten 78.74‑inch extension cords so you can reach every corner of larger vehicles without running new cables. A user‑friendly inline power switch with a 5A fuse helps prevent battery drain, and common hardware is provided to mount pods quickly.

• Prewired splitter connectors to reduce complex wiring tasks
• Ten long extension cords for flexible placement across long chassis
• Self‑tapping screws, zip ties, heat‑shrink connectors and fuses included
• 12V DC operation — standard for most vehicles and marine systems

Where can I mount these lights and what vehicle types are compatible?

The low‑profile pods suit many mounting points: under bumpers, inside wheel wells, along rocker panels, on grilles or under the bed of a truck. Because they run on 12V, they work with trucks, pickups, sedans, trailers, ATVs, RVs, golf carts and boats when properly secured and fused.

• Common mounts: undercarriage, wheel wells, rocker panels, grille and trailer frames
• Compatible with trucks, SUVs, sedans, RVs, trailers, ATVs, UTVs and boats
• Useful for loading bays, campsite lighting and maintenance access zones
• Not intended as a substitute for certified driving headlights

Who is this for: The TDE Explorer.Lighting 20‑pod pure white kit is aimed at vehicle owners who need dependable, bright under‑vehicle illumination for safety, maintenance and style. It matches well with commercial drivers, off‑road enthusiasts, RV owners and anyone who wants clearer ground visibility around their vehicle at night—especially when weather or terrain reduces natural sightlines.
