TECKWRAP Felt Squeegee Set for Vinyl Wraps — Trapezoid Soft/Medium/Hard Felt Edges, Scratch‑Safe

TECKWRAP Felt Squeegee is a trapezoid-shaped vinyl installation tool set with soft, medium, and hard felt-edged edges designed to smooth film without scratching surfaces.

These felt squeegees combine a tapered trapezoid profile with three color-coded durometers so you can pick the right stiffness for paint protection film (PPF), vinyl wraps, decals, or window tint. Each tool has a velvet-like felt edge to protect gloss surfaces while the rubber body provides enough rigidity to push air and water out from under film during application.

How does the trapezoid shape help when installing wrap or film?

The trapezoid silhouette narrows to a sharper edge, allowing installers to reach corners, seams, and tight curves where flat scrapers struggle. That geometry gives a better pressure angle and makes it easier to maintain steady contact across compound surfaces without bending or skipping.

• Sharper tip for seams and edges
• Wider base for steady pressure on flat areas
• Angles better around curves and recesses
• Reduces the need for multiple passes

Which hardness should I use for different wrap types?

The set includes three durometers: yellow is soft (40A) for delicate films, green is medium (50A) for chrome and matte finishes, and red is hard (60A) for glossy films and decals. Choosing the correct hardness reduces the risk of stretch marks, edge lift, or surface marring while improving installation speed.

• Yellow (soft) — best for PPF and sensitive surfaces
• Green (medium) — ideal for textured or chrome films
• Red (hard) — use on gloss wraps and stubborn vinyl
• Color-coding streamlines tool selection on the job

Will the felt edge really prevent scratches and streaks?

Yes — the velvet-like felt strip cushions contact between the rubber body and the film, preventing hard edges from digging into paint or glossy vinyl. The felt also helps distribute pressure evenly, enabling smoother passes and minimizing streaking during wet or dry installations.

• Soft felt reduces abrasion on clearcoats
• Helps maintain surface gloss during finishing strokes
• Easy to replace or clean to extend tool life
• Works well on windows and delicate decals
