TENDIST RV Awning LED Light Strip 40FT — Weatherproof Smart 12V Kit with App & Remote

TENDIST 40FT RV Awning LED Light Strip is a weatherproof, app- and remote-controlled 12V LED lighting kit designed to brighten and customize the exterior of RVs, trailers, vans and outdoor awnings.

This 40-foot set includes two 20-foot LED strips plus the cables and connectors you need to power and control a continuous awning light run. Built for outdoor use, the strip delivers bright, adjustable illumination while offering smart controls, music synchronization, and both hardwired and cigarette-lighter power options. It’s intended to make evening camp setups easier, add ambiance to outdoor gatherings, and give you flexible lighting options for mobile living.

How easy is it to install on an RV awning?

Installation is designed for DIY convenience: the strips come with a strong adhesive backing plus mounting clips and screws for secure attachment to awning edges or RV bodies. You can power the kit from a 12V battery or the included cigarette-lighter plug, and the set includes the specific cables to connect two 20-foot strips into a single 40-foot run.

• Includes two 20 ft strips to cover 40 ft of awning
• Strong self-adhesive backing and supplied clips/screws
• 6.6 ft 12V battery cable and 3.3 ft cigarette-lighter plug provided
• 9.8 ft controller output cable supports both strip outputs

What smart controls and lighting effects can I expect?

The lights pair with the Zengge mobile app for on/off scheduling, color selection, brightness adjustments, and dynamic scenes. If you prefer handheld control, a 2.4G remote is included that works without direct line-of-sight, letting you change settings from inside or outside the vehicle.

• Zengge app: timers, color modes, brightness and group control
• 2.4G remote: wall-penetrating control for convenience
• Multiple dynamic effects and adjustable color temperatures
• Manage several light sets from a single app account

Can these lights sync to music for parties and gatherings?

Yes — the kit includes a music-sync mode that reacts to rhythm and sound, creating pulsating or color-changing effects in time with your audio. This feature is useful for outdoor parties, tailgates, or simply adding motion and mood to evening time at the campsite.

• Music sync responds to ambient sound or connected audio
• Multiple built-in dynamic patterns for party ambiance
• Adjust sensitivity and speed through app or remote
• Works whether lights are powered by battery or cigarette plug
