The Rag Company Mitt on A Stick Center Pole Extension — 17" Aluminum Reach Extension with Foam Grip for Pro+ Kits

The Rag Company Mitt on A Stick Center Pole Extension adds 17 inches of reach to your Mitt on A Stick kit so you can clean higher and farther with the same pro-friendly handle.

Extend the reach of your existing Mitt on A Stick Pro+ quickly and securely with this lightweight center pole extension from The Rag Company. Built from sturdy aluminum and wrapped with a soft foam grip, the extension snaps into your kit to give you an additional 17 inches while keeping weight low and handling comfortable. It’s engineered for auto detailing tasks where extra height or length prevents stretching, ladder use, or awkward positioning.

How does this extension improve access when washing taller vehicles?

Adding 17 inches to your pole lets you reach rooflines, camper tops, truck cabs, and roof racks without climbing or overreaching. The extension maintains the balanced feel of your Mitt on A Stick kit so you can control movement and pressure while cleaning vertical surfaces.

• 17 inches of added length for higher panels and roof areas
• Aluminum core for strength without heavy weight
• Secure connection to existing Mitt on A Stick components
• Soft foam grip for steady, comfortable handling

Will the extension make the pole harder to hold or maneuver?

No — it’s designed to be lightweight and ergonomic. The aluminum construction keeps the added mass low, and the foam comfort grip reduces hand fatigue, even when the pole is wet or used for extended periods.

• Low-weight extension prevents unbalanced handling
• Foam padding improves grip when wet
• Compact diameter for natural wrist control

Is the extension compatible with my Mitt on A Stick Pro+ kit?

This center pole extension is made specifically to integrate with The Rag Company’s Mitt on A Stick Pro+ components. It connects securely to the existing pole sections and accessories, increasing versatility without the need for extra adapters.

• Designed for Mitt on A Stick Pro+ compatibility
• Tool-free attachment for quick setup
• Works with the brand’s mitts and head assemblies

What maintenance does the extension require to stay reliable?

Minimal care keeps the extension performing well: rinse after use, dry before storage, and inspect the connection points periodically. Avoid corrosive chemicals directly on the metal and store indoors to retain the foam grip condition.

• Rinse with fresh water after use to remove soap and grit
• Air dry and store indoors to protect foam and metal
• Check fittings occasionally for secure engagement

If you value lighter tools, secure connections, and a comfortable grip that performs when wet, this extension makes your existing kit more versatile without replacing it.
