The Rag Company Ultra Clay Scrubber Dual-Sided Reusable Clay Tool, Red & Black 2-Pack

The Rag Company Ultra Clay Scrubber is a dual-sided, reusable scrubbing-clay tool designed to remove embedded paint contaminants, light overspray, and road grime from paint and glass quickly.

Designed as a modern, convenient alternative to traditional clay bars, this two-pack combines an abrasive scrub side with a smooth clay side so you can safely lift contamination and refine surfaces before polishing or waxing. It’s built to be used with clay lubricant or quick detailers, and its durable construction lets you rinse, dry, and reuse the scrubbers multiple times—saving money while keeping finishes clean and smooth.

How does the Ultra Clay Scrubber remove overspray and contaminants?

The scrubber combines mechanical scrubbing and clay-like surface contact to dislodge and pick up particles embedded in paint and glass. The textured scrubbing side loosens stubborn deposits while the clay-like side picks them up, leaving a smoother surface ready for protection.

• Dual-sided design: one scrubbing fabric, one clay-like contact surface for pickup
• Works with clay lubes and quick detailers for safe glide
• Effective on paint, glass, and painted plastics
• Removes light overspray, road grime, and embedded particles

When should I use this as part of my detailing routine?

Use the Ultra Clay Scrubber as a final wet-cleaning step before polishing, waxing, or sealing. After washing and rinsing your vehicle, apply a lubricant and work the scrubber in sections to remove residual contamination that soap might miss.

• After a full wash, before polishing or sealing
• On paint and glass to ensure a smooth finish
• Best for light to moderate contamination; persistent heavy contamination may need specialty clay
• Rinse and inspect frequently to avoid reintroducing debris

How do I use and care for the scrubber to get the longest life?

Keep the tool wet with lubricant during use and rinse it often to flush out trapped particles. After use, thoroughly rinse with fresh water, air-dry, and store flat; proper care preserves the scrubbing surface and allows dozens of reuses.

• Use with clay lube or detailing spray for glide and protection
• Rinse frequently while claying to remove picked-up grit
• Machine-or-hand-wash with mild detergent if heavily soiled; air dry
• Replace if large embedded particles permanently damage the surface

Will this scratch my paint or glass?

When used correctly—wet and with adequate lubricant—the Ultra Clay Scrubber minimizes surface marring while removing contaminants. Always keep the pad clean and work in small sections; stop if you detect resistance and rinse the tool to avoid dragging abrasive particles across the surface.

• Always use plenty of lubricant to prevent friction marks
• Inspect and rinse the tool regularly to remove trapped debris
• Avoid using on surfaces with large, sharp debris embedded
• Test in an inconspicuous area if unsure about finish sensitivity

Who is this for? The Rag Company Ultra Clay Scrubber is ideal for DIY detailers, mobile detailers, and car enthusiasts who want a quick, reusable option to remove light contamination before polishing or applying protection. It suits anyone who washes their vehicle regularly and wants a smoother, cleaner surface without the single-use waste of traditional clay bars.
