The Tiger Tool Automotive U-Joint Puller 10105 is a heavy-duty extractor designed to press out seized U-joint bearing cups on cars and light trucks quickly and safely.
This compact press-style tool replaces hammer-and-punch techniques, delivering controlled force to remove U-joint bearing cups without damaging the driveshaft when used as directed. Built for repeated shop use, the 10105 is engineered for U-joints with bearing cup outer diameters from 1.00" to 1.25" and addresses common service tasks on class 1–2 vehicles including many Ford, Chevrolet, and Ram models.
The 10105 uses a threaded forcing screw and precision-fit receiving cups to apply steady, centered pressure that pushes the bearing cup out of the yoke. This removes the shock and lateral movement of hammering, reducing the risk of bent yokes or damaged driveshaft components.
The tool targets common U-joint sizes found on many class 1 and class 2 vehicles, including popular half-ton and three-quarter-ton pickups. While it covers a broad range of late-model and older vehicles, always measure the bearing cup outer diameter and check for flange-style yoke limitations before use.
Tiger Tool manufactures this extractor with hardened steel components and treated threads to survive repeated high-torque use. Proprietary metal treatments and quality control ensure the forcing screw and alignment parts hold up when extracting corroded or seized cups.
Set the yoke and receiving cup securely, center the forcing screw on the bearing cup, then turn the screw slowly to push the cup out. Use steady, even pressure and re-check alignment frequently to avoid side-loading the yoke or forcing screw.
Who is this tool for? The Tiger Tool 10105 is aimed at mechanics, home DIYers, and fleet technicians who service light trucks, vans, and cars and who want a faster, safer alternative to hammer-and-socket removal methods. If you regularly replace U-joints on class 1–2 vehicles or need a dependable extractor for seized bearing cups within the stated size range, this tool provides a professional-grade solution built for heavy use.
Q: What bearing cup sizes does the 10105 support?
A: It fits U-joint bearing cups with a 1.00" to 1.25" outer diameter.
Q: Can I use this on Double Cardan joints?
A: No. The 10105 is not compatible with Double Cardan joints; use Tiger Tool 10206 instead.
