TonGass 3" Rotating Rigid Bayonet Adapter Set — Black ABS, 3" Twist-On to Threaded, Leak-Resistant

TonGass 3" Rotating Rigid Bayonet Adapter is a two-piece RV waste connection kit featuring a rotating 3-inch twist-on bayonet adapter and a matching termination adapter for secure, OEM-fit sewer hookups.

Keep your RV waste outlet connections reliable with a compact, durable adapter set designed to mate standard 3-inch twist-on fittings to threaded plumbing or camper sewer hoses. Forged from black ABS plastic, this combo pack includes a rotating rigid pipe adapter with bayonet hooks and a termination adapter that accepts a 3-inch twist-on connector on one side and a bayonet/tread-compatible connection on the other. The pair aims to simplify hookup, reduce leaks from misalignment, and give you flexibility when connecting sewer hose or permanent plumbing.

How does the rotating rigid pipe adapter make hookups easier?

The rotating rigid pipe adapter lets you align and twist into place without rotating the whole pipe or assembly. Its bayonet hooks engage quickly with the RV outlet and the rotating action compensates for slight misalignments, speeding up setup.

• Standard 3" twist-on diameter for wide compatibility
• Bayonet hooks/lug nubs secure the connection quickly
• Rotating collar allows twist without stressing the hose
• Black ABS finish resists outdoor wear

What does the termination adapter connect to and why is it useful?

The termination adapter bridges a 3-inch twist-on connection and a bayonet-style camper sewer hose or threaded plumbing pipe. It is useful when you need a temporary or semi-permanent transition between RV outlet fittings and external drain lines.

• One end accepts a 3" twist-on with bayonet hooks
• Opposite end supports standard bayonet hook-up or threaded pipe
• Works as a drain fitting for caps, hoses, or sewer connections
• Permits flexible routing when full-length rigid plumbing isn't practical

Are these adapters durable and how should I join them to pipes?

Both pieces are molded from robust black ABS plastic that holds up to regular outdoor and campground use. Proper bonding technique matters: use the correct adhesive for the pipe material to ensure a watertight, long-lasting joint.

• Manufactured from sturdy ABS for impact and weather resistance
• Use ABS cement when connecting ABS pipe to the female slip hub
• Use PVC primer/cement only if the pipe is PVC and compatible with adapter material
• Inspect bayonet hooks and seals before each season for best performance

How do I know this set fits my RV outlet and sewer hose?

This combo kit is built to OEM 3-inch twist-on dimensions and features standard bayonet hooks, so it pairs with most 3" RV waste outlets and common camper sewer hoses. Measure your outlet if unsure to confirm compatibility with a 3" diameter twist-on fitting.

• Designed for standard 3" RV twist-on outlets
• Bayonet hook pattern matches common camper sewer hose fittings
• Rotating adapter helps adapt to slight size or alignment differences
• Works well for temporary or semi-permanent sewer transitions
