Torque Detail Sap Attack car sap and tar remover 8oz - fast-acting spot cleaner, safe on clearcoat

Torque Detail Sap Attack 8oz is a concentrated remover that dissolves tree sap, tar, gum, sticker adhesive and asphalt residues from automotive paint so you can wipe them away safely.

If your vehicle picks up sticky, paint-threatening residues after parking under trees or driving on freshly paved roads, Sap Attack tackles those spots without lengthy rubbing. This compact 8-ounce formula is engineered to break down stubborn organic and petroleum-based deposits quickly, letting you restore a smooth finish with a microfiber towel and minimal effort.

How does Sap Attack remove tree sap and tar without harming paint?

Sap Attack uses solvent blends calibrated to soften and lift sap, tar, and adhesive so they can be removed with light wiping rather than aggressive abrasion. When used as directed, it dissolves the residue at the surface level allowing a gentle cloth to do the work.

• Fast-acting solvent formulation that targets sap and tar bonds
• Designed for spot treatment—limits contact time with clearcoat
• Wipes clean with microfiber to reduce rubbing and swirl risk
• Not intended for raw aluminum, bare metal or recommended for plastics

What’s the best way to use Sap Attack on a stubborn sticker or gum mark?

Spray or apply a small amount to the affected area, allow it to penetrate for a short dwell time, then gently lift the softened material with a cloth or plastic scraper. Repeat if needed and finish with a wash or quick detailer to remove any residue.

• Work on a cool surface out of direct sunlight
• Apply sparingly; wait 30–60 seconds to let product penetrate
• Use a soft plastic scraper or microfiber towel to remove loosened residue
• Rinse or follow with car wash to clear remaining oils

Will Sap Attack affect wax, sealant, or clearcoat protection?

Sap Attack is formulated for spot cleaning; occasional use removes contaminants while minimizing impact on protective layers. For best results, reapply wax or sealant to treated areas if you notice diminished shine after cleaning.

• Safe for occasional spot treatments on painted, clearcoated surfaces
• May remove surface wax or sealant where applied heavily—reapply as needed
• Not formulated for frequent use over entire vehicle finish
• Always test in an inconspicuous area before broad application
