TRIM-LOK Edge Trim U-Channel for 1/16" Panels — 3/8" Leg, 25 ft, Black Pebble, Weather-Resistant PVC

TRIM-LOK A62B3X1/16-25 is a flexible PVC U‑channel edge trim that fits a 1/16" panel edge with a 3/8" leg, offering 25 feet of single‑grip protection in a black pebble finish.

This exterior-grade edge trim provides a clean finished edge and impact-resistant protection for plywood, sheet metal, glass, and other thin panels. Manufactured from weather‑resistant PVC with an internal gripping tongue and optional aluminum clips, the profile is designed to slide on quickly and retain its hold through vibration, temperature changes, and exposure to sun and moisture.

How will this trim protect thin panels and exposed edges?

The single gripping tongue combined with the U‑channel design covers raw edges and cushions against knocks and abrasion. It adds a small radius that reduces chip and splinter risk while preventing direct metal‑to‑metal contact.

• Protects plywood, sheet metal, glass, and painted edges from wear
• Single internal gripping finger secures to a 1/16" thickness reliably
• 3/8" leg length provides substantial coverage and impact buffering

Can this PVC trim handle outdoor and marine environments?

Yes — the PVC compound is formulated to withstand temperatures from −20° to 158° F and resist moisture and UV exposure. That makes the profile suitable for boats, outdoor equipment, and vehicles where long‑term weathering is a concern.

• Durable PVC construction resists sunlight and rain
• Temperature stable across wide seasonal ranges
• Low maintenance: no painting or sealing required

How easy is it to install and what tools are needed?

Installation is straightforward: align the U‑channel and push it onto the edge; the internal single gripping finger and optional aluminum clips hold it in place. For stubborn fits, a rubber mallet or clamp and light lubricant speeds the process.

• Push‑on installation for quick application
• Use a mallet, clamp, or light soapy water to ease fitment
• Can be cut with standard shears or a fine saw to desired length

What applications are best suited for this model?

This profile is versatile for industrial, marine, and consumer uses where a thin edge needs a finished look and protective coverage. It’s frequently used on automotive panels, equipment cases, furniture, doors, and playground hardware.

• Boats, marine trim, and accessories
• Automotive panels, helmet rims, and golf carts
• Machinery guards, service carts, and palletized cases
