This compact kit gives DIY mechanics and professional technicians the hardware needed to flare brake, fuel and HVAC lines made from soft metals such as copper, aluminum, brass and soft steel. The kit combines a forged yoke, hardened flaring bar, five-size adapters and a tube cutter in a molded case so you can work at the bench or on the vehicle.
The TUBPRO kit uses precision-machined adapters that guide the tubing and a hardened flaring cone to form consistent 45° single or double flares. A robust flaring bar holds the tube securely while the alloy steel swivel reduces binding during the flaring stroke.
The set is intended for soft metal lines—copper, aluminum, brass and soft steel—commonly used in brake, fuel and HVAC systems. It supports tubing from roughly 1/8" up to 5/8" for cutting, with flaring adapters covering the most used sizes for vehicle lines.
The kit includes the flaring cone, flaring bar (yoke), tube cutter, five adapters and a blow-molded storage case. Critical load parts are heat-treated or forged steel to resist deformation under repeated use, while the chrome alloy swivel helps prevent galling.
Proper preparation and controlled technique yield the best flares: square-cut the tube, deburr the edge, choose the correct adapter, and apply steady pressure while forming the flare. Inspect the finished flare for uniform shape and seating before installation.
Who is this for: The TUBPRO Brake Line Flaring Tool Kit is aimed at automotive DIYers, small repair shops and HVAC technicians who need a portable, versatile flaring solution for soft-metal tubing. If you routinely work on brake lines, fuel lines or air-conditioning tubing and require reliable 45° single or double flares without investing in bench machines, this kit provides the key tools in a compact package.
Q: Can this kit flare hardened steel tubing?
A: No. The TUBPRO set is designed for soft metals like copper, aluminum, brass and soft steel, not hardened steel or iron.
Q: What tubing sizes do the adapters cover?
A: Adapters cover 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2" for standard 45° flares.
