Turtle Wax Inc. Ceramic Black Car Wax Spray, 16 oz — Spray-On Ceramic Protection & High-Gloss Shine

Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Black Car Wax Spray is a spray-on ceramic-acrylic formula designed to restore deep black color, add high-gloss shine, and provide long-lasting environmental protection for black and dark-colored vehicles.

If you own a black, dark blue, or charcoal vehicle and want an easy, quick way to boost color depth while improving surface protection, this 16 oz spray from Turtle Wax mixes black pigmented carnauba and ceramic acrylic polymers to both enhance appearance and repel contaminants. The product is intended for regular use as a stand-alone finishing spray or layered with other items from the Hybrid Solutions Ceramic line to extend protection and make maintenance simpler between washes.

How does this spray improve the look of faded black paint?

The formulation contains black-dye enriched carnauba and light-filling polymers that visually deepen color and hide minor swirls. When sprayed and buffed, it lays down an even film that reduces the appearance of light scratches and delivers immediate gloss.

• Black pigmented carnauba enhances color depth and contrast.
• Micro-fillers smooth minor imperfections for a more uniform finish.
• Buffs to a streak-free, reflective shine in minutes.

Will this product protect my paint from water, dirt, and UV damage?

The ceramic-acrylic polymers create a hydrophobic barrier that sheds water and helps keep grime from bonding to the surface. With the recommended cure time and repeat applications, you gain longer-lasting resistance to contaminants and UV exposure than a typical non-ceramic spray wax.

• Hydrophobic finish repels water and reduces beading on the surface.
• Acrylic polymers add durability against road grime and pollutants.
• Acrylic components help block UV-related fading and oxidation.

How simple is the application, and what results should I expect?

Application is straightforward: spray onto panel or microfiber, spread evenly, then buff to a glossy finish. Expect immediate visual improvement and enhanced water repellency; for maximum longevity allow a 24-hour cure and consider a follow-up coat.

• Quick spray-and-buff workflow—ideal for weekend detailing or touch-ups.
• Full cure recommended: 24 hours for optimal polymer bonding.
• Second coat increases durability and can extend protection up to months under recommended use.

Can I use this with other Hybrid Solutions products?

Yes—this spray works well as part of a layered maintenance routine with Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Wash & Wax and the Ceramic 3-in-1 Detailer. Combining complementary products can improve ease of maintenance and prolong the protective benefits.

• Pairs with ceramic wash products to start with a clean, prepped surface.
• Top-coating with the spray seals and boosts gloss after washing.
• Regular topping extends protection and keeps water beading strong.

Who is this for? This Turtle Wax Ceramic Black Spray is tailored for owners of black and other dark-toned vehicles who want a fast, user-friendly detailing step that enhances color depth and adds water-repellent, UV-resistant protection. It fits drivers who prefer DIY upkeep—those who spot-treat between washes, do weekend detailing, or want to maintain show-quality gloss without professional ceramic coating procedures. Avoid using over damaged, peeling, or chemically compromised paint without proper surface preparation; for best results, apply on clean, cool panels and follow the cure guidance for longer-lasting benefits.
