UPENGUPENG 12V 600dB Dual-Tone Metal Air Horn Kit — Chrome Dual-Trumpet with Compressor, Weather-Resistant

UPENGUPENG's 12V 600dB dual-tone metal car horn is a complete electric train-style air horn kit that delivers an extremely loud, weather-resistant alert with two chrome-plated trumpets and an included 12V compressor.

This dual-trumpet air horn converts a standard 12V vehicle horn socket into a commanding, attention-grabbing signal. Built with metal trumpets, a high-output compressor, and corrosion-resistant components, the kit is designed to fit most 12V cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles and boats. It ships with mounting hardware and clear wiring instructions so you can upgrade your vehicle's audible presence without lengthy modifications.

How loud is this horn and what does "dual-tone" mean?

The kit produces an extremely powerful sound rated at 600dB peak output from its two metal trumpets, creating a layered signal that cuts through traffic noise. "Dual-tone" refers to the two trumpet pitches working together to create a more complex, attention-getting blast than a single-tone horn.

• Rated peak output: 600dB for high audibility
• Two trumpet frequencies produce a harmonic, attention-grabbing sound
• Metal trumpets amplify and shape the tone for long-range projection

Will this fit my vehicle and how hard is installation?

The UPENGUPENG kit is made for 12V electrical systems and is broadly compatible with most cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles and small boats. Installation is straightforward: mount the bracket, connect positive to positive and negative to negative, and secure the compressor and trumpets using the supplied hardware.

• Complete kit includes compressor, two trumpets, bracket and fasteners
• Universal mounting bracket and hardware for flexible placement
• Simple wiring: follow included diagram for positive/negative connections

How durable is the horn in bad weather and heavy use?

The horn combines chrome-plated zinc trumpets with ABS plastic and a sealed compressor, offering resistance to rust, water and wear. It's engineered to handle outdoor exposure and regular use without rapid degradation.

• Chrome-plated zinc resists corrosion and maintains finish
• ABS plastic parts provide impact and weather resistance
• Sealed compressor design improves durability in wet conditions

What comes in the box and what are the trumpet dimensions?

The package contains everything needed for a single-horn installation: the 12V compressor, two metal trumpets, an angle iron mounting bracket, screws, nuts and gaskets, plus basic wiring instructions. The trumpets measure approximately 8.5" (21.5 cm) and 6.1" (15.5 cm), giving the dual tones their distinct pitches.

• Included: 12V compressor, two metal trumpets, angle iron bracket
• Hardware: 4 screws, 4 nuts, 4 gaskets for secure mounting
• Trumpet lengths: 8.5" (21.5 cm) and 6.1" (15.5 cm) for dual tones

Who is this for? Drivers who need a louder, more assertive audible warning—such as truck and SUV owners, off-road enthusiasts, boat operators, and anyone wanting a train-style horn upgrade—will appreciate this kit. It's ideal for people seeking a reliable, heavy-duty horn that installs without complex vehicle modification and stands up to outdoor conditions. If you require a quieter replacement or a horn for a non-12V system, consider verified alternatives; otherwise, this UPENGUPENG kit provides a powerful, durable upgrade for standard 12V vehicles.
