Vgate vLinker MC Bluetooth OBD2 Diagnostic Adapter for Android & Windows — Bluetooth 3.0, Low Power

The Vgate vLinker MC is a compact Bluetooth OBD2 adapter that converts your Android device or Windows PC into a capable vehicle diagnostic and coding tool.

Designed for hobbyists, mechanics, and coders, the Vgate vLinker MC Bluetooth 3.0 OBD2 adapter offers fast data transfer, broad app compatibility, and built-in safety protections. It pairs wirelessly with diagnostic apps such as FORScan, Torque, Carista, DashCommand, JScan, and BimmerCode, enabling live data streaming, trouble code reading, and advanced module coding when used with compatible software. The small housing and low idle current mean you can leave the adapter plugged in without worrying about draining the car battery.

How fast and reliable is data transfer for diagnostics and coding?

The vLinker MC uses Bluetooth 3.0 with the TP transmission protocol to deliver stable and relatively high-throughput connections on Android and Windows. That makes it suitable for live sensor streaming, gauge displays, and many coding operations that require consistent packet flow.

• Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity with TP protocol for secure, steady transmission
• High data throughput suitable for real-time gauges and logging
• Compatible with apps that perform coding and advanced diagnostics

Which apps and platforms will this adapter work with?

The vLinker MC is optimized for Android and Windows; FORScan explicitly recommends it for Android users. It also functions with a wide array of third-party automotive apps so you can choose the interface you prefer for scanning, logging, or coding.

• Recommended by FORScan for Android-based diagnostics
• Works with Torque, DashCommand, Carista, JScan, BimmerCode, and many OBD2 apps
• Windows compatibility via Bluetooth for laptop-based workflows

Is the adapter safe to use and energy efficient?

Vgate designed this adapter with protections and low power draw so it can remain connected without posing risk to vehicle electronics or the battery. Over-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature safeguards help protect both the adapter and the car’s OBD port during intensive sessions.

• Built-in protection: over-voltage, over-current, over-temperature
• Intelligent sleep mode reduces idle draw to around 3 mA
• Typical operating current about 24 mA for efficient use

Can I update the firmware and keep the device current?

Yes — Vgate supports firmware updates to improve compatibility, performance, and security. Contact Vgatemall or your authorized vendor for firmware upgrade instructions and the latest releases.

• Firmware upgrades available through Vgatemall or authorized sellers
• Updates can improve app compatibility and transmission stability
