VOFONO Jeep Wrangler Door Straps Replacement 2PCS — Heavy-Duty Nylon, Adjustable 1000 lb Load for TJ JK JL YJ 1996–2024

VOFONO 2PCS heavy-duty nylon replacement door straps are adjustable, reinforced check straps designed to protect and limit the door sweep on Jeep Wrangler models (1996–2024) with a 1000 lb rated load capacity.

If your Jeep’s original door straps are frayed, broken, or causing door misalignment and wire harness strain, these replacement straps offer a durable upgrade. Built from a double-layer nylon braid and multi-needle stitching, they restore door control, prevent body wear, and let you fine-tune door travel for accurate fit and safer operation.

How do these straps protect my Jeep’s body and wiring?

By acting as the door’s limiting check, the replacement straps stop the door from swinging past its designed range. This prevents repeated scraping against the body and reduces stress on internal wiring and connectors.

• Prevents metal-to-metal wear on door edges and threshold areas
• Limits door travel to avoid overstretching door harnesses
• Reduces risk of bent hinges and torn seals from overextension

What makes these VOFONO straps stronger than stock parts?

VOFONO uses a two-layer nylon braid with reinforced seams sewn by multi-needle stitching to increase thickness and tear resistance. The result is a strap assembly engineered to withstand higher loads and endure off-road vibration and repeated use.

• Double-layer nylon for improved abrasion and UV resistance
• Multi-needle stitching for higher seam strength and longevity
• Tested load capacity up to 1000 pounds for reliable restraint

Will these fit my Jeep model and how adjustable are they?

The straps are custom-cut to match door geometry on Jeep Wrangler models from 1996 through 2024, including TJ, JK, JL, CJ, JKU, YJ and JLU. Multiple stitched pockets let you shift attachment points to accommodate different door widths and accessory setups.

• Compatible with 1996–2024 Jeep Wrangler variants listed above
• Several sewn adjustment pockets for precise door travel control
• Works with both factory and most aftermarket hinges and brackets

How simple is installation and what tools are needed?

Installation is straightforward: remove the old threshold band, mount the nylon bracket to the vehicle, and seat the strap onto the metal retaining rod. Most owners can complete the swap with basic hand tools in a few minutes.

• No cutting or complex modifications required
• Uses existing door mounting points and metal retaining rod
• Includes two straps so front driver and passenger doors are covered

Who is this for: These VOFONO replacement door straps are aimed at Jeep owners who need a durable, adjustable fix for torn or worn door check straps—especially off-road enthusiasts, daily drivers seeking longer-lasting parts, and anyone restoring an older Wrangler. If you want to prevent body wear, protect door wiring, or simply upgrade to a stronger, more adjustable strap than OEM, these straps provide a practical, easy-to-install solution.
