VViViD Headlight Taillight Tint Vinyl Wrap - Dark Smoke 16" x 30ft, High-Gloss & Easy Install

VViViD+ Ultimate Headlight Taillight Tint is a dark smoke, high-gloss automotive vinyl wrap designed for headlights and taillights that balances smoked styling with maximum light transmission and easy installation.

Bring a showroom gloss and subtle smoked look to headlights and taillights without sacrificing visibility. This 16" x 30ft roll of VViViD+ Ultimate vinyl combines a deep dark smoke color with industry-leading clarity, an ultra-clear adhesive, and a nano air-release structure that simplifies dry installs and heat-forming. It’s formulated to conform to curves, resist lifting, and maintain a high-gloss finish that reads like premium paint when properly installed.

How does this film impact nighttime visibility?

The VViViD+ Ultimate dark smoke is engineered for higher visible light transmission than typical smoke tints, preserving safer illumination while achieving the smoked aesthetic. It uses an ultra-clear acrylic adhesive and an optical-grade film layer to reduce light loss compared to traditional darker films.

• Higher visible light transmission than many smoke films
• Ultra-clear adhesive minimizes dimming of bulbs
• Designed to comply with practical on-road visibility needs

Is installation difficult for DIYers or pros?

Installation is approachable for experienced DIYers and pros thanks to VViViD’s improved stretchability and nano air-release pattern. The film can be applied dry, repositioned during layout, and heat-formed to complex curves, with a protective cap preserving surface integrity until you finish.

• Rubberized stretchability for easier conformity to curves
• Nano air-release channels allow quick bubble-free laydown
• Protective release cap prevents scuffs during handling

Will the finish look like paint and how durable is it?

The finish delivers a high-gloss, paint-like appearance that enhances the vehicle’s aesthetics while the hardened acrylic adhesive provides strong bonding without harming headlight coatings. With correct preparation and heat application, the film smooths out to a near-seamless, reflective surface.

• Highest-gloss film layer imitates wet-paint shine
• Hardened acrylic adhesive secures film without damaging lenses
• Resists lifting and stands up to normal weather exposure

What tools and maintenance are recommended?

Basic vinyl wrap tools and heat sources are recommended: squeegee, sharp trim knife, and a heat gun. After installation, gentle cleaning preserves the shine—avoid abrasive cleaners and strong solvents to maintain the protective surface.

• Use squeegee and heat gun for clean edges and conformity
• Trim precisely with a sharp blade for tight seams
• Clean with mild soap and soft cloth; avoid harsh chemicals

Who is this for: VViViD+ Ultimate Headlight Taillight Tint is aimed at car enthusiasts, detail shops, and DIY modifiers who want a premium smoked look with minimal compromise to light output. It suits vehicles where a glossy, painted appearance is desired without permanent modification, and for installers seeking a reliable, repositionable film that performs well on complex headlight and taillight shapes.
