wassermann 12V Self-Priming RV Water Pump 4.0 GPM 45 PSI with Pressure Switch — Kit with Filter & Adapters

The WASSERMANN 12V RV Pump is a self-priming, automatic water pressure pump delivering up to 4.0 GPM at 45 PSI for freshwater systems in RVs, boats, and campers.

This compact, 12-volt DC pump is built to replace or upgrade onboard water systems, supplying consistent pressure for sinks, showers, and fixtures. Supplied as a complete kit, it includes hose adapters, a debris filter, and a user guide so you can install quickly. Corrosion-resistant components and a pressure switch provide hands-off operation: the pump starts when a tap opens and stops when flow ceases.

How does the WASSERMANN pump keep water flowing reliably?

The pump uses a built-in pressure switch and self-priming design to maintain steady flow without manual control. Once plumbing is opened the motor engages automatically; it shuts off when pressure returns to its set point, protecting the system and conserving battery power.

• Automatic pressure switch for on-demand operation.
• Self-priming capability reduces air-lock issues during starts.
• Short-time dry-run tolerance to avoid immediate failure if suction is lost.
• Consistent 45 PSI output suitable for most RV fixtures.

What performance can I expect from this 12V pump?

This model delivers up to 4.0 gallons per minute at a nominal 45 PSI, balancing flow and pressure for everyday onboard use. The 12V DC motor makes it compatible with typical vehicle batteries and auxiliary 12V sources, enabling reliable operation on the road or at anchor.

• Peak flow up to 4.0 GPM for showers and multiple fixtures.
• Stable pressure around 45 PSI for consistent water delivery.
• Designed for 12-volt DC systems—works with RV batteries and cig lighter outlets.
• Compact footprint for easy mounting in tight compartments.

What comes in the kit and how hard is installation?

The pump ships as a complete package with the most common fittings so you can swap or install without searching for parts. Basic plumbing skills are sufficient; mounting hardware is minimal and the included manual guides through hose, filter, and electrical connections.

• Includes pump, two 1/2" barbed hose adapters and one 1/2" male-thread adapter.
• Inline debris filter to protect the impeller and prolong life.
• User manual with wiring and mounting instructions for a straightforward install.
• Plug-and-play compatibility with 12V supply—no inverter required.

How durable is the pump for seasonal and marine use?

Materials and design choices focus on endurance in mobile and wet environments, with corrosion-resistant components to reduce wear. The unit tolerates intermittent dry running for short durations and is engineered for repeated starts typical of RV and marine use.

• Corrosion-resistant construction suitable for freshwater systems.
• Self-priming design minimizes air-related faults after storage.
• Engineered for repeated on/off cycles encountered during travel.
• Compact, serviceable layout for maintenance or replacement parts.

Who this is for: The WASSERMANN 12V RV Pump is aimed at RV owners, boaters, van-lifers, and anyone who needs a dependable 12-volt freshwater pump. It suits DIY installers replacing worn pumps, builders outfitting new campers, and weekend travelers seeking consistent pressure without complex electrical changes. If you want a ready-to-install kit with automatic pressure control and robust performance for sinks and showers, this pump is a strong match.
