Will this fit my Dodge RAM steering wheel?

This West Llama cover is engineered for large steering wheels measuring 15.5 to 16 inches (about 39–40 cm). Before buying, measure the wheel’s diameter to confirm compatibility; the fit is snug by design for secure placement.

• Compatible size: 15.5–16 inches (39–40 cm) diameter.
• Made for Dodge RAM 1500, 2500, 3500 factory wheels.
• Snug stretch fit that won’t slip when installed correctly.

How does the material affect feel and durability?

The outer layer is soft PVC leather that offers a premium tactile feel without animal leather. It resists scuffs and fading while remaining comfortable for everyday driving. The inner natural rubber ring adds resilience and long-term grip retention.

• PVC leather: soft texture, easy to clean, and wear-resistant.
• Natural rubber inner ring for shock absorption and resilience.
• Designed to withstand routine use and preserve original wheel finish.

Does it improve safety and control while driving?

The built-in anti-slip veins on the inner ring increase friction between the cover and the steering wheel, reducing rotation or slipping under hand pressure. A firmer grip helps with steering precision, especially during abrupt maneuvers or long drives where grip fatigue can occur.

• Non-slip inner texture enhances handhold and control.
• Improved grip reduces chance of hand sliding on turns.
• Helps maintain consistent steering feedback from the factory wheel.

How easy is installation and what tips help it fit smoothly?

Installation is tool-free and designed for DIY fitting. The cover ships folded, so warming it slightly will soften creases and make stretching it onto the wheel easier. Follow the included instructions for best results and gradual fitting.

• Tool-free install — stretch the cover over the wheel by hand.
• Use a hair dryer to warm the PVC leather and relax packing creases.
• Work around the wheel in sections for an evenly seated fit.
