Wix Engine Air Filter 49310 — Fits Lexus & Toyota 2007–2018, Pleated Media & Plastisol Seals

The WIX 49310 is a replacement engine air filter designed to trap dirt and debris, protecting engine internals and helping preserve performance in compatible Lexus and Toyota models.

When your vehicle breathes cleaner air, moving parts stay cleaner and the engine runs more reliably. The WIX 49310 uses embossed pleats and pleat-stabilizing beads to expand filtration surface area and capture more particles than a flat element. Built with heat-resistant plastisol seals along the top and bottom edges, it forms a snug, flexible barrier to reduce bypass and keep contaminants out of the intake stream.

How does this filter improve engine protection?

The WIX 49310 is engineered to stop airborne dirt before it reaches sensitive engine components. Its pleated media creates a larger surface area for trapping particles while stabilization beads keep the pleats separated under airflow, maintaining filtering efficiency over time.

• Embossed pleats increase dust-holding capacity compared with non-pleated designs
• Pleat stabilization beads prevent collapse under pressure for consistent performance
• Heat-resistant plastisol seals reduce the chance of unfiltered air slipping past the element

Will this part fit my Lexus or Toyota?

WIX 49310 fits specific Lexus and Toyota model years between 2007 and 2018 but vehicle fitment can vary by engine and trim. Always confirm compatibility by entering your vehicle details into the seller’s part-finder or checking your owner’s manual to ensure correct match.

• Designed as a direct-replacement single-filter unit for listed applications
• Some vehicles may require two filters—verify before purchase
• Part numbers and fitment notes on the product page help prevent ordering errors

How do I maintain and replace this air filter?

Engine air filters are a routine service item; replacing them at the manufacturer-recommended interval keeps intake systems clean and supports reliable operation. Inspect the filter visually during scheduled maintenance and swap it for a new WIX 49310 when it appears heavily soiled or at the interval specified in your owner's manual.

• Check the filter during oil changes or regular service visits
• Replace with the same WIX part number to preserve fit and sealing performance
• Dispose of used filters according to local waste guidelines

Why choose WIX 49310 over an aftermarket alternative?

WIX is a specialist brand known for filtration solutions; this model combines durable materials and design features that prioritize consistent airflow control and particle capture. If you want a balance of longevity and protection without altering your vehicle’s intake flow characteristics, WIX 49310 is engineered for that purpose.

• Reliable plastisol sealing for accurate, repeatable fitment
• Stabilized pleats that maintain filtering area under real-world conditions
• Manufactured to meet common OEM fit and form expectations

Who is this for: The WIX 49310 is intended for Lexus and Toyota owners seeking a dependable replacement air filter that restores factory-like protection.
