Woopeey Hood Pin Kit 8pcs 1.25in Stainless Steel Black — Push-Button Quick-Release, Low-Profile

Woopeey 8-piece 1.25-inch stainless steel hood pins are universal, push-button quick-release latches that secure lightweight hoods, bumpers and panels with a low-profile aluminum alloy cap and 304 stainless steel rod.

These hood pins combine corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel rods with anodized aluminum alloy caps for a stealthy black finish. Designed to replace or supplement factory fasteners, they offer a simple mechanical solution to hold a bonnet or panel closed during spirited driving, transport or track use. The kit includes eight pins sized at 1.25 inch (31.75 mm) outer diameter that suit a wide range of vehicles and many custom applications.

How do these pins lock and release?

The Woopeey pins use a push-button quick-release mechanism: press the button on the cap to withdraw the rod from its keeper and lift the panel. Releasing the rod locks it back into place. This simple action makes removal and reinstallation quick without tools.

• Push-button cap for fast disengagement and engagement
• Spring-loaded rod secures into the keeper when released
• Compact, low-profile head to reduce snagging and visual bulk
• Built for repeated use under frequent open/close cycles

Will these fit my car or custom project?

These pins are sold as a universal-size kit—1.25-inch outer diameter caps with 304 stainless rods—so they fit many vehicles and aftermarket panels. Because every vehicle and fabrication differs, minor drilling or adapter plates are often required for a clean fit.

• Universal sizing for broad compatibility with cars, trucks and race panels
• Works on hoods, bumpers, license plate mounts, air boxes and cabinets
• Adapters or washers can help align with existing holes or brackets
• Professional installation recommended for precise fit and safety

What materials and finish are used, and why does that matter?

The kit pairs anodized aluminum alloy caps with 304 stainless steel rods for a balance of weight, corrosion resistance and appearance. The anodized black cap provides a stealthy look while the stainless rod resists rust in road conditions, helping the hardware stay functional and visually consistent over time.

• 304 stainless steel rod for corrosion resistance and strength
• Anodized aluminum alloy cap for low weight and a black finish
• Durable construction suited to exterior automotive environments
• Low-profile design preserves vehicle aesthetics

How should I install and maintain these hood pins?

Installation typically involves marking, drilling through the bonnet and attaching keepers on the chassis or panel. Because alignment and secure anchoring are important for safety, professional installation or careful DIY with proper tools is advised. Basic maintenance—periodic cleaning and light lubrication—keeps the spring and button operating smoothly.

• Mark and test-fit before drilling to ensure correct alignment
• Secure keepers to solid mounting points or plates for load handling
• Periodic rinse and light lubricant on the rod and button prevent sticking
• Inspect fasteners and mounting points regularly for wear
