XBVV 17-Piece Pick & Hook Set — 17pc Automotive Trim Removal Kit with Telescoping Magnetic Pickup and No-Scratch Nylon Tools

The XBVV 17-piece Pick and Hook Set is a complete automotive trim removal and small-parts retrieval kit designed to remove clips, gaskets, fasteners and retrieve metal parts without scratching vehicle surfaces.

This kit gathers precision steel picks, ergonomic clip pliers, impact-resistant nylon trim tools, a gasket scraper and a telescoping magnetic pickup with LED to cover most interior and light mechanical tasks. Every tool in the set is shaped to access narrow seams, pry plastic fasteners, scrape residue and recover dropped bolts in tight, dark spaces—making it a practical one-stop bag for mechanics, DIYers and maintenance pros.

What tools are included and how do they differ?

The set contains 17 specialized pieces arranged for different jobs: four large picks for general hook duties, four mini hooks for fine or recessed work, three clip pliers in varied sizes, four no-scratch nylon trim levers, one ergonomic gasket scraper and one telescoping magnetic pickup with LED. The assortment gives layered access from gentle plastic trim removal to strong metal hook leverage.

• 4 large steel picks: multi-angle hooks (180°, 135°, 90°, 45°) for leverage and reach.
• 4 mini hook picks: precision work around small clips and seals.
• 3 clip pliers: three jaw widths to remove different fasteners and retainers.
• 4 nylon trim tools: no-scratch edges for panels, rivets and bezels.
• 1 gasket scraper: ergonomic, non-slip for residue removal.
• 1 telescoping magnetic pickup with LED: extends 8.7"–33.1" and rotates 360°.

How do the no-scratch trim tools protect surfaces?

The trim levers are molded from high-strength, impact-resistant nylon fiber and finished with smooth, polished edges to avoid gouges or scuffs on paint and plastic. Their flexibility lets them slide between tight panel gaps while maintaining enough stiffness to pop fasteners free without bending or snapping.

• Rounded, polished tips prevent paint chips and dents.
• Nylon fiber resists cracking under repeated use.
• Varied shapes allow prying from under clips, bezels and door panels.

When should I use the clip pliers and gasket scraper?

Use the clip pliers whenever a push rivet or stubborn retainer needs to be pulled with controlled force—the three sizes let you match jaw width to the fastener for safer removal. The gasket scraper is the go-to for removing old gasket material, hardened sealant, rust flakes or paint buildup on metal and block surfaces without sacrificing grip comfort.

• Clip pliers fit narrow crevices and reduce fastener damage.
• Thin 2-in-1 jaws slide behind tight clips for leverage.
• Ergonomic scraper handle reduces hand fatigue during scraping tasks.

How does the telescoping magnetic pickup improve efficiency?

The pickup extends from 8.7" to 33.1" and features a 360° flexible magnetic head so you can reach bolts, nuts and metal fragments from awkward angles. Its built-in rotatable LED illuminates dark cavities, drastically reducing time spent fishing for dropped hardware in engine bays, under dashboards or behind appliances.

• Extendable shaft reaches deep or narrow spaces safely.
• 360° flexible head secures metal parts at odd angles.
• LED lighting helps recover items in unlit areas quickly.
